Update- they are now going to use the app to force late fees on you if you fail to use it sign out for the day. Per their policy update, “If you forget to sign your child out, you will be charged $15 per 15 minutes after 6:00 PM.” This on top of the forced auto pay and no longer offering a fully flexible schedule. If you want to a week with zero days scheduled, you will have to call support and wait on hold for approximately an hour and thirty minutes to make that change. They switched to a new app and website and didn’t transfer over any of the payment transaction data so you can’t access the necessary tax info. If you call them for help you’ll wait over an hour. Despite this they emailed out instructions with how to access the documents on the website knowing full well that that information is not in the system. Also the app itself is terribly designed. It’s been a headache for weeks. What a joke. We’re about ready to cancel with the program at this point.

I can’t believe champions started a new app and took the old website down without making sure the new app and website were fully functional. Now I’m logged in in the website but I can’t log in on the App, which is frustrating because I can’t make any schedule adjustments and my billing doesn’t reflect the schedule I want. It’s in autopay and I don’t want it this way, there’s no way to change it. The phone number for costumer service is the only way to get to someone, the first day I waited 4 hours, and 40 people were on queue, after the talk my issues were not solved as promised and when I try to call back, there’s more than 200 people on queue…. Probably waiting for an entire 24 hour day. I emailed several times to the right email, but emails are not responded. Terrible change, not productive, not efficient, not proper costumer service in place…. I could go on and on…. I’m a busy parent and all I need is help after school.

I’m not sure why they decided they needed an app but they obviously didn’t test this one out with users first because it has been a horrible experience since rolled out. I tried signing up for Feb break and it tells me I can’t because a user with that email already exists.. no kidding I’m that user. My discount was wrong, then fixed and is back to being wrong again. Then trying to sign up for summer camp and it says there’s no availability on half the days even though there are as confirmed by our site director. It’s so bad I have changed my mind on having the kids sign up because I don’t want to deal with this anymore. The way that it lists out the discounts / programs looks like this was made by some middle school kid doing a school project. I have used several other apps in the past for daycares and they have been much easier to use, have a much better UI and were rolled out without any issues like these.

This new app and setup is awful. It doesn’t has as many options or features as their old website. It no longer allows you to skip a week and instead forces you to choose at least 1 day per week, essentially forcing you to pay for childcare you will not be using. Considering finding other options, simply because of the issues with this launch. We love our kids champions site, but can’t imagine the monetary hit we will take being forced to select 1 day per week, including the summer weeks. They need to fix this problems asap. For the past 5 years, we have been allowed to select and opt out of days and whole weeks when we do not need childcare. Will this no longer be an option? Wouldn’t know, since their help desk doesn’t respond to email and they don’t answer the phone.
