Not manager friendly

As a manager, this new scheduling app is extremely difficult to use. I am unable to see the actual staff schedule—only call-offs and open shifts appear. I also cannot send messages through the app, which limits communication with my team. I have no idea what the app looks like from my staff’s perspective, but from a management standpoint, it is not functional. Without the ability to view schedules or communicate effectively, the app does not support the needs of leadership or operations.Update 9/30/2025:I was able to locate the section where staff schedules are displayed, which is helpful for navigation. However, I am currently able to view schedules from other departments in addition to my own. For efficiency and improved time management, it would be more beneficial if the system were limited to displaying only my department’s schedule, reducing unnecessary scrolling and ensuring focus on the relevant team.

Fill open shifts without leaving the app — or your unit. When an employee calls off or if you have an open shift, you no longer need to rush back to your desk. Now you can send Shift Offers directly from the OnShift X mobile app, review responses, and get shifts filled fast. How it works: When you log a call-off in the app, tap "Send Shift Offer" to instantly see a list of available, qualified employees. Select who you'd like to offer the shift to and tap send. - If Auto-Approve is enabled and an employee without overtime requests the shift, their request is automatically approved and the shift is filled. - If you review shift requests manually, you can approve right from the Alerts screen on the OnShift X app. No desk required. No scheduling gaps left waiting. Getting started: Shift Offers are available now. Log a call-off or find an open shift. Look for the "Send Shift Offer" option to get started.
