I get it: it’s 2026 and this is an iOS game, so subscription fees and endless IAP is the norm. Still, this is pretty disappointing coming from a dev who has made so many great iOS games that didn’t lean into these annoying revenue models. Gameplay wise it’s great - fun, expansive, gorgeous. But I’m not interested in paying a monthly fee to remove ads, I hate seeing multiple currencies and a bunch of paid “bundles” in the store. I’d pay $10 or even $20 to just have the game. As it stands, this will get less play from me than any other TTT game because it just feels a little bad to play a game with this kind of stuff in it.

A one time purchase to remove ads in a game is a good thing. You reward the dev for the game they made and they reward you with no ads or maybe an ability to skip ads. This game has both. Regular ads and bonus ads that give you double money and the like. You can make a purchase in the shop to remove ads from the game. Cool, right? Not so fast. That just removes the mandatory ads. You want to remove those bonus ads they essentially built the economy of the game around? Pay 5 more bucks. Ok, not the end of the world, right? Oh, did I mention that 5 dollar purchase is for one month subscription? Next month you have to pay again or else the ads are back. Don’t support this level of monetization. Avoid this game until the dev comes to their senses. This isn’t an MMO or live service game. No sub is worth this.
