The app is super glitchy (freezes, doesn’t always mark items as completed accurately, won’t open sometimes, etc.). I also wish the pdfs were simply ALSO available as viewable parts of the app (vs requiring a download). Further, would be nice if there was a starting visual/checklist of ALL tools and ingredients, that wasn’t tied to a video. That way you can gather and know you’re starting the course with all materials (eg in bonbon making, the initial tools/ingredients overview just covers what’s needed to temper chocolate… they don’t talk about the type of mold you will need til later/in a different section). Cool idea in theory— really like all of the skills they’ve suggested! Would be better if they had improved scriptwriting/UX/UAT to ensure a smooth and comprehensive experience.

They took my money and I have no access to my account. I signed up paid and could not log into my account. I reached out to them and they said that they don’t have an account with my information. So I signed up again and paid again and the same thing happened. I’ve reached out to Customer Service and they claim that there is no account with my information. Interestingly, though they have charged my account at third time for the renewal. I never used this once and so far I paid three times. They are not working with me. My only option from here on out is to dispute the charges and file a claim against them. What could’ve been a nice thing is turning out to be a huge huge scam. Don’t fall for this.

I cancelled this subscription literally days after I signed up for it the FIRST time. Today I got billed again. So I logged in and it was like a first time log in leading me to believe the cancellation went through. So out of curiosity I cancelled again and never received an email confirmation, so no proof. Super sketchy and not to be trusted. I will be contesting the charge.Update: I called the number listed on my CC statement and it is a personal number that stated he was from Now you Know and when I asked him about billing he said “that’s definitely not me and now I don’t even know what your talking about”. Nice. Fraud. Scam. What ever you want to call it.

I’ve made cookies and cupcakes. Made chocolates and candles. And despite saying in my “quiz” that I wasn’t interested in learning any of those (I’m a pastry chef), that’s pretty much what my payment for 3 months offered. Teasers once you sign up indicate other skills, but you don’t get to choose them. The quiz is merely click bait. That said, if you have zero skills in these areas, the tutorials are great and well done. What would have retained my interest (and opened my wallet) would be to see the entire curriculum and to be able to choose my topics (one topic per week?). I won’t be renewing.
