I tried to make transfer from my checking account Bank of America and I tried in 3 different days and. The money from my account was transferred back to my bank,after 3 days on every time I called the bank and the only reason they will look into it and still today no response is very disappointing the only way was from my PayPal account that was the only way, I am scared to do a direct deposit for my check and then gets rejected and then I have to suffer to get paid from my company it’s very frustrating so I opted only from PayPal it’s the safest option 🥺🥺🥺

I love United and I love getting the free miles, but I am very surprised that they would partner with such a terrible bank. Everything else you’ve seen on the other reviews is true. The hold money, you cannot initiate transfers from within the app, they “don’t know what the money is”, and it’s overall just very lacking and frustrating to work with. This is my first month and I’m still trying to fund it, I am hopeful that once I’m able to set up scheduled transfers I’ll just have my bills come out of there and make some miles, but the only thing that’s making me hold is the fact that it’s UNITED.Update Jan 20th:Account funded, impossible to set up autopay with most companies and direct deposit takes a day to process. I have closed the account.

The whole direct deposit page works only for certain employers, my employer doesn’t participate in that particular direct deposit, but you are able to set it up manually with your account and routing number found under the settings.

App hates to load sometimes, you don’t get miles on every purchase. Spent over 4k in 2 months and only got around 800 miles. Takes a LONG time to accrue miles. No Zelle option. If you use your card for Apple Pay, they will actually block it because of “suspicious activity” and you have to wait for a representative to unlock your card. Add on the monthly fee, and this just isn’t worth it.
