Honestly, even though I am an avid Delicious fan and player, I always like to check out reviews to see what people think. I must say, I feel like I should apologize on behalf of my fellow game players. I have never seen such a bunch of ridiculous whining for ABSOLUTELY nothing in all my days. What is worse, is that most of what I read in the first few of a string of comments wasn’t even correct complaining. I especially love the ones who said “the story wasn’t even fun, it was just about a STORM the entire game”. That is a load of crock. It literally took until level 20 something before we even SAW any storm. You people should be embarrassed. If it wasn’t that you were complaining about, it was the ads, and if not the ads, then someone was insulting who they think are “newly hired team”. That person actually had the nerve to tell GameHouse to get rid of people they don’t even know are new. Oh, and then the complaining about the price or the “money grab” GameHouse is after. Just quite simply the rudest bunch of comments I’ve read in a long while. I think this game is precious so far. I’m on level 27….and just as excited as I usually am to see what happens next. So far, I think game play has been up to the standard I’ve always been used to, and I don’t know what the heck is wrong with the person who says, “I can’t even get 3 stars no matter WHAT I DO!” Please, if you haven’t been able to get 3 stars in every level, then you can’t be a seasoned Delicious player, and you probably shouldn’t be admitting that you can’t do it. Anyway, I’m sorry that people don’t appreciate the game you have made for us. I’m truly enjoying myself. I especially love that we get to interact with and hear mentioned some of our favorite characters from the past…. Dr. Heart, and even mention of Sally! I look forward to making my way through the rest of this charming game. Thanks for all you do, GameHouse! And by all means, if you haven’t played yet, PLEASE do not let comments (other than mine of course) persuade you that it might not be worth it. I haven’t seen truth in any of what I read yet. Like just about EVERY other game before this one, I think it’s well worth a play!

I’ve been waiting for this game to come out because I’m a huge fan of the Delicious GameHouse series. The previous game was amazing, so I had really high expectations for this one.Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed.The biggest letdown was the story. One of the reasons I’ve always loved the Delicious games is because of their long, emotional storylines that make you feel connected to the characters. This time, the story felt very short, rushed, and focused almost entirely on one thing, the weather. It felt more like running errands than experiencing a meaningful story. Many levels barely had any story at all, and before I knew it, the game was over.The different locations and backgrounds also felt very similar, so there wasn’t much variety or excitement from level to level. I also noticed that some levels don’t seem to allow you to earn a full 3-star score no matter how well you play, which can be really frustrating.I still enjoyed the gameplay because I genuinely love the Delicious series, but I was expecting so much more. Compared to previous games, this one felt too fast, too short, and lacked the heart and memorable storytelling that made me fall in love with these games in the first place.I really hope future updates—or the next Delicious game—bring back the longer, more emotional stories with unique locations and characters. I’ll always support this series, but this release honestly left me disappointed. 😢

Made it to the third location, and enjoying the additional difficulty. The newer Emily games are still easy, even on Hard difficulty, so this is a welcome change.My biggest complaint is that even though I paid $15 for this game, it still forces me to sit through ads for GameHouse at the end of some levels. This is unacceptable. “No ads” should mean no ads, especially at this price.I also find the policing of a pregnant woman’s diet (forcing her to eat soup instead of the cookie she wants, and she will lose a heart over it) to be a very questionable choice, especially when you can give little kids lighters. Who’s responsible for this?

Getting ads for the game I am currently playing still counts as getting ads. I pay for the subscription.Also can’t play a location and upgrade everything. In location 2 I had to play a repeat level 21 times to get three of the helpers. As they have greatly reduced the amount of coins that you get when you play a repeat. I know this has been a common complaint for years and yet they keeping make it worse.
