With mystery, magic and stunning scenery, Kent offers some of the most fascinating and picturesque walks in the country.
From rolling hills and ancient woodlands to quiet river valleys and a dramatic stretch of coastline, Kent is a county full of variety and natural beauty waiting to be explored on foot.
The Kent Walks app includes simple to use GPS-enabled route maps covering 150 amazing walks of between 1 and 14 miles throughout Kent and the surrounding areas.
Walks include diverse woodland, peaceful riverside routes, challenging hill walks, open countryside, coastal adventures and city parks.
Detailed maps that track your progress are available offline, so they still work even if you have no internet signal when you are out enjoying the walks.
The maps also include contour detail that helps you evaluate the difficulty of each walk before you set off.
Filter by woodland, waterside, hill walk and pub walk to easily find the route that’s perfect for your mood.
After each walk, you can complete a quick questionnaire in the app to provide valuable feedback. We use this to improve the walks over time, and some comments and ratings may be published to help other users.
Mark walks as ‘complete’ to keep track of the routes you’ve done and monitor your overall progress.
