uglySudoku

Games

Free · Designed for iPad

It may be ugly and hard to use, but it's free with no ads or in app purchases. With a retro interface clunky enough up to make a '80s software engineer proud,* uglySudoku lets you play or create sudoku games.   When playing it has five levels of difficulty, along with built aids that you can turn on or off to aid you.  The games are created on the fly so there's no worry about seeing the same game twice.** When creating, it has a built in solver that will tell you if it's unsolvable, solvable or solvable with multiple solutions. There's nothing that stops you from using the solver when you are playing, but how could you live with yourself if you did that? * refer to support URL for interface instructions. ** Technically, it could happen, but statistically unlikely.
