The exact aircraft variant is kept and shown next to the model. Tap the info mark on Variant to see what those digits mean: the series, the engines, and what ER or neo stand for. Your collection now lists the variants you have flown on each aircraft type. Flights are no longer skipped when we do not recognise the airline in your calendar.
