There are new card themes and this version introduces several background images to choose from. There are swatches shown under the card to allow quick changing overrides for a particular saying. Cards are now saved at the same proportion like a playing card.

There is a new overview section under Text section of a saying. You will see much more comprehensive information for each saying here. A speaker icon button will show in the upper right of each overview section to allow start/stop playing the text with the voice. This is separate from the voice playing only the saying and the meaning text. Two new card themes are available, "Sunset Porch" and "Twilight Bayou". Also the "Show New Saying" button will match this now.

There is a new “Text” button added to Card, Photo of each saying. You may copy the text to clipboard or share. There is a new Speaker icon in the top of the form when viewing a saying. This will be there regardless of whether you are in Card, Photo, or Text mode. You can use this to read the text in a voice. The voice used can be selected in Southern Sayings settings. It will use System Default until another voice is selected. After you select a voice, there is a Preview Voice button that will say “Well, butter my biscuit” in order to see if you like how it sounds. After you press the Speaker button, it will start speaking. You can press it again to stop immediately. It will also stop if you move to another saying.

Two free sayings are added and several new premium saying images are added in this latest version. Two new free ones are "Lollygag" and "Like a chicken on a junebug."

1x,2x buttons will appear on iPad only on Card viewing. It will default to 2x and make it easier to review each saying. There is a new "Appreciate You" saying.

You can now pan/zoom on an image from Daily or Library view.

A new "Frame Border" option is now in Card Theme in settings. If selected, you also select the Border and Text Color for the border of the card. And you select the Border Width from thin to extra thick.

Two more bonus items are available.

There is a Bonus tab to view several images or PDFs. The image/photo for each saying and this Bonus content is all part of the "Premium Content" provided by the in-app purchase. There is a more understandable button on Daily View to show the new random saying.

Category is assigned to each saying and there is a filter for selecting All or by category in Library. You may long press on a card or photo to get prompted to save it. Premium images are available for in-app purchase. This will give you a photo of every saying with the meaning and scene. There are 10 free photos to give you a sample of this.

The settings will have a new "Show Polite Only" slider, enabled by default but will save the setting. Keep this enabled if you want to make sure all are safe enough to send to nearly any one. The count of the sayings in the list is NEW in this update and will show in the top right of Library. There are now 415 total sayings in this update with meanings with the polite filter disabled.

This release has bug fixes for landscape mode and a fix for some text cut off on a few cards with smaller screens. There are two new color selections in settings, "White On Mater", and "White On Raw Honey". There are an addition of over 100 more sayings and meanings.
