WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Most sound apps give you a loop and a volume slider. Tinnitus Match is a real mixer. You dial in your own pitch, stack the sounds that work for you, and save the result as a preset you can start with one tap tonight and every night after.
BUILD A SOUND THAT MATCHES YOUR TINNITUS
- Pure tones with sine, triangle, square and sawtooth waveforms
- White, pink and brown noise
- Notched noise (TMNMT) with a notch you can widen or narrow
- Bandpass noise for a narrow band around your pitch
- 10 nature sounds: rain, heavy rain, ocean, waterfall, wind, fireplace, forest, thunder, crickets and frogs
- Notch or bandpass filter any bed, including the nature sounds
- Type any frequency from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with 1 Hz precision, or nudge in 1, 10 and 100 Hz steps
- Stack as many layers as you like, each with its own volume, plus a master volume
- Separate layer stacks for your left and right ear, linked or independent

YOUR TINNITUS PROFILE
Save your pitch, the ear it lives in (left, right or both), its character (tonal, hissing, buzzing or pulsing), severity and notes. The profile is stored with your account so the AI and your presets follow you to any device.
HEARING CHECK
A 2-minute pure-tone check across 7 frequencies that maps where you are less sensitive, so you know where to aim your sounds. A screener, not a medical test.
COMMUNITY
Browse and play presets other people with tinnitus have shared, no account needed. Sign in to like, comment, save any preset to your library, and publish your own. Report and block controls are built in. Tabs: New, Mine and Loved.
WORKS OFFLINE
Every sound is built into the app. The mixer, presets and sleep timer work with no connection. AI, community and sign-in need one.
PRIVACY
No ads. No analytics SDKs. No trackers. Nothing is sold. Firebase (Google) is used only for sign-in, syncing your profile and presets, and AI. You can delete your account and your data from the Profile screen at any time.
SAFE LISTENING
Keep the volume low enough to sit under your tinnitus, not over it, and take breaks. Loud or prolonged listening can harm your hearing.
Tinnitus Match is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a doctor or audiologist. Sound therapy may help some people notice their tinnitus less over time; results vary. If your tinnitus is new, sudden, one-sided or pulsing, or comes with hearing loss or dizziness, please get it checked.
