I’ve been tracking my expenses with Daak Pro for over two years, and I recently tried using Daak 2. Although many of the new features are indeed very appealing (e.g., fixed deposits, investments, and sub-accounts), I’ve decided not to switch to the new app because I find the user interface of the original Daak app much more user-friendly. It’s much more intuitive to enter and categorize expenses in the original app, and switching between the Record and Analysis tabs is also much more convenient. Another suggestion I have for the app is to add a multi-select option for editing transactions.
Better analysis in Daak 1

Overall the UI improvement looks good, and it’s also more smooth. But the analysis tab in Daak 1 provided more useful information and categories like tags, ledger, and more. Hope Daak 2 could adapt it as well!
Please fix this

The main reason I started using Daak is because the subaccounts for the credit cards were separated, and each card could be treated individually. I just got the premium version and everything, but the app isn't showing me the cards separately and the accounts are missing the decimals display. (like if its $30, it shows $30 instead of $30.00) The updated version feels just fine, but version 1 was way better. More cute, more friendly, the dashboard could pick "Day", now it has to go through custom. None of the templates, loans, etc. got migrated from Daak 1, it hasn't been a nice experience. Guess I'll wait for the next update to see how it goes and keep using the previous version meanwhile.
- Added support for including transactions without an account in asset statistics
- Improved tag selection
- Improved exchange rate display
- Improved backup and restore
- Improved the Watch app
