Most teleprompters scroll at a fixed speed and leave you chasing the text. Wispim follows the words you say, so you can look at the lens and speak naturally.

The script moves as you speak, waits while you think, and can find an earlier line when you repeat it. No speed to set or guess.
READS OVER YOUR CAMERA APP
Put the script in a floating window and record in Camera, Instagram, TikTok or another app. Move and rotate the window to place it under the lens.
RECORD IN WISPIM
Record video with your script in front of you, using the front or back camera. The script follows your voice while you record, and videos are saved to Photos.
ON IPHONE DUO
Film yourself with the back camera and read your script on the outer display.
SPEAK TO CONTROL IT
Say pause, continue, go back, restart or go to the end to control the prompter.

TWENTY LANGUAGES
The app is translated into twenty languages. Voice following works in every language your iPhone recognises, and spoken commands work in ten of them.
PRIVACY
Wispim does not receive your scripts or audio. Speech recognition runs on-device where available; otherwise iOS may send audio to Apple to convert it to text, which Wispim never receives. You can turn off usage statistics not linked to you in Settings.

Free: six prompter takes, with voice following, voice commands and the floating window. Writing and editing scripts is free and unlimited. Pro: unlimited takes, import TXT, Markdown, PDF, DOCX, and RTF, and your script library on all your iPhones, through your own iCloud. Available monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.

On iPhone, you can now record video with your script in front of you. Videos are saved to Photos.
Wispim is now also available in Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Dutch. When a script is in a language your device cannot recognise, Wispim no longer starts a take in Voice mode that cannot follow you: it offers Sound mode or another recognition language instead. Tips & gestures and the Voice commands list no longer promise commands in such a language. Quick taps on the volume buttons are no longer missed. Go back now returns to the word you are reading and stays there. If on-device recognition stops following you mid-take, the take now switches to Apple's servers and carries on.
