My Grit Subscription

I used to subscribe to Mother Earth News magazine and then would get “teaser” ads for Grit. I really enjoyed Mother Earth but got less interested as time went on. I grew up on a farm in Iowa 70 years ago and Grit just seemed a better fit for me after a while. I’m not looking to homestead but still enjoy the down-home ambiance of Grit. The articles are more in tune with things I remember from when I was growing up. There’s good advice to be had here and that’s why I keep coming back. Thanks Grit for a great and nostalgic magazine.

This magazine is not available offline after you purchase it. I would have rated it higher if it was. It is also difficult to get to the magazines that you have purchased.

It uses MAZ and it's the exact same thing you'd see if you bought the paper magazine, ads and all. Using MAZ (a digital publishing service/app) makes the reading experience painful and I doubt I'll resubscribe because of it. Stop using MAZ and publish something like the "Loop" and I'd keep subscribing and would even pay more.
