Make the app capable of turning into landscape mode so it will work on a sideways iPad that is mounted. I’m not going to re-mount my iPad and app is hard to use sideways. Also, allow multiple logins so it can ring my phone when I’m out of the car and iPad at same time while I’m driving or in the car. Multiple logins would also allow me to take pictures/video on my phone when out of the vehicle without taking the time to unstrap my iPad. Also add a profile settings tab so a driver is able to update a phone number or other personal info. Customer service is impossible without a phone number so the app needs more options. Other than the above suggestions, Honk is great to work with and I’m happy to be a provider.

App is terrible, always on the glitch side .. this app will cause your scores to drop and they won’t fix your scores.. no where to put for a Goa fee .. almost completely terrible.. good luck with these ppl .****Update 2025 ! Still been trying to use honk over the years, I use them here and there but the app has gotten all the way terrible.. completely bad ..It’s to the point I’m bout to cancel contract with them .. the pay is extremely low the app never updates so you cannot close out on calls and even if you call the support line it’s still no help if they cannot get in contact with customer to confirm you completed job since the app never works right. Drove an hour just not to get paid because the app is really terrible and they cannot get in contact with customer.. they make you use 3rd parties numbers to get in contact with the customer and the numbers can be from any state and nowadays most people have spam blocker on so it’s impossible to contact customer when you using numbers like that .You would think with the bad reviews they would fix things .. it’s not worth using your truck/car , money and have to maintenance everything plus pay taxes .. please do better honk and do right by your contractors

The app requires you to have location services set to “always available” so they can track your location and see when you arrive to a job, but they fail to mark you as “on scene” when you get to a job. You can also only mark a job complete after “arriving on scene” so if they fail to mark you on scene and you perform the service you can’t mark it complete. Once complete you can call and let them know the service was complete, but you will be 5-20 minutes “late” on your ETA which will affect your provider score. The advantage of this app is they’re the newest motor club and technologically the most advanced, but all the old school clubs use towbook which blows honk out of the water on user interface. Yes you can connect honk to towbook however if they call to offer a job it will not be received on towbook, only through the honk app, resulting in issues. I hope honk will fix these issues, but reviews from years ago would suggest they will not. Great concept; horrendously executed.

First off this app is complete and utterly useless. Jobs lag and when you’re going on scene it doesn’t update. Since you’re not showing on scene you cannot clear the call out. I’d prefer to use Towbook with it but that doesn’t always work either. Now for Honk. If you run into an issue with a live call the dispatch line does nothing but tell you to go online to resolve the issue. Why they can’t help you while connected is beyond me. We spent over 90 minutes trying to find one of their customers only to find out they needed a tow and not light service. They gave us a GOA of $20 instead of my contracted $35. We lost out on plenty of opportunities in my home area for nothing. I’ve since terminated this contract with them as they are costing me more than I can make with them. Oh not to mention they confirm with the customer the job is done before they pay you. So I asked the question what if the customer doesn’t answer and no one could confirm that I would be paid.
