There is hope

I’ve struggled with alcohol for just about 50 years of my life early and never looked at it as a problem. It’s just part of being social and part of life and then as time went by decades and decades I quit numerous times only to go back again and again and again and again and again. I then just tried to rationalize that this is normal. This is who I am. This is what I like to do. This is what I’m going to do although my subconscious New# this was slowly killing me and I wasn’t the true best version of myself, and I pray to God for guidance and for help, show me the way Lord in Jesus name help me because clearly I have failed to help myself this book this group for once in my life I’ve got hope!

I love this app, and I love that it is free! It has helped me in my spirituality. I am a beginner in AA, I have most of the books already, but I enjoy this app because I can just have my phone or tablet and read from the Big Book when inspired to do so. This app makes it easy to say my daily prayers and to work the steps. I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for the Big Book or any AA material. I have just begun listening to the podcasts from this app as well. There are so many great things included it's amazing!

I love this app, and I love that it is free! It has helped me in my spirituality. Simply put, my body was tired and beaten. There was no joy in drinking when the next day brought jitters and physical pain. After a long overnight in the ER, I downloaded this app the next afternoon and read it nightly to maintain sobriety. Even if you aren't sure about giving up alcohol, please take ONE night away from the liquor and download this so you can instead read about s sober future. Read it sooner than later. You will be grateful you did and so will others in your life.

Simply put, my body was tired and beaten. There was no joy in drinking when the next day brought jitters and physical pain. After a long overnight in the ER, I downloaded this app the next afternoon and read it nightly to maintain sobriety. Even if you aren't sure about giving up alcohol, please take ONE night away from the liquor and download this so you can instead read about s sober future. Read it sooner than later. You will be grateful you did and so will others in your life.

It’s so handy to have the big book on my phone for FREE!!!!!! I can at anytime look up a section or chapter of the 164 pages of text. The appendix is here and the stories from the 1st and 2nd addition as well. I appreciate have the other stories that I don’t find in my big book. It gives me something to identify with and that means HOPE of recovery. This has also allowed me to be of service. Be it a call from a fellow alcoholic at work or a newcomer at a meeting. It gives me more to share thank my own thoughts and understanding of the program. I also love the prayer section. It was so helpful when I was new to the program. I still use it almost everyday.
