Follow on review update: so, I came back to update my review(again), and increase the score and add a bit more. The amount of effort the developer puts into addressing player concerns and desires is astounding; it’s uncommon in console/PC games, within mobile games it borders on unheard of. I enjoy the tweaks to difficulty and survival (I actually didn’t mind that healing took so long, but I won’t begrudge people wanting a balance adjustment), adding in daily bonuses, heavy changes to the story, improvements and additions to graphics, and much more. I also love that it’s balanced so I can spend a few minutes here and there scavenging, crafting, or resting at my leisure; or, I can go all in and spend a couple of hours basically stripping cities to their foundations. I don’t have to wait for an absurd amount of (real world) time to move from simple task to simple task. The only things I have to watch out for are. the survival stats, food, water, sleep, and detrimental factors. Solid game from a great developer that actually cares, well worth the price of admission. I was having an amazing time with this game; challenging, in depth, strategic thinking being key...until the game hijacked itself and forces me to travel across the map. I have absolutely no control, my character marches himself to death, over and over.Update/edit: using a developer suggested workaround, turning off training in the options menu, gave me control again. Back to surviving in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
