Reading the digital facsimile edition is good - not as good as the old app. You can’t read in landscape mode across two pages, and stories often cross the centre line.But the frustration of trying to delete old downloaded editions is getting WORSE. To begin with, the tiny red x was so hard to hit, i would accidentally open the paper about 3 times before i could hit the delete x. Now the delete x works ( still averaging 4th hit) on a download 2 papers later! So if the old download is at the end of the display, it can’t be deleted.What will happen next???

I have a subscription through Apple, so I have no login account. Which is too bad for me since this update gives you a login screen that you can’t bypass. This is the second time an app update has hosed me. Should have known better to update when things were working. Also their update notes make no mention of a forced login screen which is always disappointing in terms of being transparent with paying customers.ADDITION: No fix or info from the developer. Time to unsubscribe. Word to the wise… understand what the limitations are before you subscribe via Apple.
