Unable to link COVID vaccine certificate

Still unable to load COVID vaccine certificate on iPhone 6 iOS 12.5.5 Service Vic version 1.15.0, safari pop up allowed.

Hi gredear, this could be an issue with the settings on your iPhone if you're using iOS 12. Here is how you can fix it. 1. Turn off your pop-up blocker in the browser setting. Do this by tapping 'settings' on your home screen. 2. Scroll down and tap Safari or Chrome. Turn off the toggle next to 'block pop-ups'.

Unreliable

There’s a lot to like about the SV app. It’s small, it’s fast, it works on all devices. It isn’t invasive!

But, it also needs to work reliably.

- The QR codes are too complex (too much data!) and so are hard to scan in anything but perfect light

- The app slices are inconsistent; when they don’t appear (which is often!), the website is opened instead… and there’s no way to checkin on the website

- The “skip” button on first launch doesn’t actually work

No App transparency and slow

As it is mandatory to use the app more transparency on usage data would be welcome. Some data is stored for 28 days, some indefinitely.

The app is also very slow to load an an iPhone 12.

When you check-in by scanning a QR code with the Service Victoria app, we'll only use your details for contact tracing if there's a COVID-19 outbreak. If there's no outbreak at a venue you've been to, we'll delete your details after 28 days. We won't use your details for marketing or other purposes. More at www.service.vic.gov.au/check-in-privacy
