I’ve been using this app for a few days and it’s awesome. My only critiques are 1. The shorts are broken in the sense you can’t scroll (ie when opening a short it just opens it up like a video leaving me unable to move to the next one), and the tab for it just opens another home page with the same issue. 2. Another thing I’d like is a way to look for other videos with the current video I’m watching to still be open. Like move it to a pip until I go back to the video or click on something else. 3. Lastly before turning my phone to go full screen the video behaves like regular yt I can double tap to skip 10 seconds I can see timestamps people put on the video things like that. Going full screen changes the player and it’s like watching a random vid on safari. Idk if there is a way to change that and preserve the yt video features or not but it would be nice to keep those. Again these are just something’s I’ve noticed, and some things I’d like to see the app is wonderful and the creators are doing gods work.

Alphabet has gone off the deep end with their use of ads. I understand that it supports revenue and a lot people’s businesses, but too much is too much and this is now a full on war. Remember, we already pay them back in the form of our data, so why the predatory ad practices? Why when my hands are full and I can’t skip an ad, I get rewarded by having to watch another? Why the playback tracker that forces you to watch the screen until you can skip? Why ads every 5-minutes, regardless of whether you watched one earlier? Not cool, man. So this is the first ad blocker I’m trying and so far its good smooth playback. Seems to be a little clunky on signing in, but I dont expect Alphabet to cooperate. So I’ll keep working with this and enjoy content as I see fit.

sometimes with how bad the bugs are, the back to other pages or restarting the same video that I never wanted to play from 10 videos ago, or not being able to go watch another video without jumping back to the old one. I can sometimes spend 5 to 10 minutes trying to get a video started but instead some other dumb stuff happens or completely just freezes and shows blank white screen. I just didn’t realize I could’ve saved a lot more time if I just watched the one minute worth of ads and finished a whole video by then before I managed to even get this one started on enhanced yt. Once I get a long video started, and I don’t have to touch it because God forbid, then it’s cool, no ADS is always nice. Though they’re making me pay with stress and frustration and doing the same thing over and over again with no results or different alternatives to simply get a video started or find it even without it glitching out or lagging.

App works well, no extra buffering or poor quality and of course, no ads. One problem though, after a few days of using it the MiniPlayer option disappeared. I primarily watch videos in MiniPlayer for noise while I work when music isn’t enough to keep my ADHD brain in check, almost never watch any other way, so the app is basically useless to me till this bug (is it a bug?) gets fixed. If you don’t care about MiniPlayer, though, this app is great.
