2FA Authenticator (2FAS‪)‬ +4

Edit: Because of the developer’s response, I am changing my review from 4 stars to 5. This app has everything I am looking for- It is FOSS, it has a great user interface, you can import, export, cloud sync your seeds, and backup offline. You can also sort your seeds alphabetically or manually, which serves the same purpose as a “favorite” button. The fact that it is open source is a HUGE plus. Hopefully this app sticks around for a while and remains FOSS for the duration. If you need cross-platform non-mobile support, there is a browser extension too.

I’m searching for a Raivo replacement. 2fas is pretty good. It has a nice user interface and is intuitive to use. It doesn't have a lot of extras that would cause it to be less user friendly. I would suggest it with a slight caveat. One thing I like about Raivo is the way it uses standard zip files for its backup export. In that folder it creates to files; a json and a html. So, I can unzip the export on my computer and print either one for a paper backup I put in my safe. 2fas uses a .2fas file extension in its export. This means there isn’t a quick way change 2fa apps unless your next app choice has the ability to import a 2fas backup. Which by the way 2fas can import and/or gives instructions how to import from Google, Raivo, etc. which is pretty nice.

Thanks for the feedback, but there is a slight misunderstanding. The .2fas file our app generates is a .json file, therefore all the apps that support the .json files will be able to import our file without a problem. 😁

I was getting fed up with all of the cheap React Native and Cordova 2FA apps. Was about to write me own, how hard can it be? Did one more search to see if I could find something that was native iOS and supported iCloud, and tried this app out. IT’S EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! To the point, not always trying to sell me stuff, high quality native iOS, simple, and stores data on iCloud instead of some mysterious “just trust us 😉” third party service. I have only a single gripe, but extremely minor. Could you please make the 2FA codes collapse to hide until clicked on, and style each cell in the UITableView to be more like the bubble tiles seen on the App Store’s home view? You’re awesome!

The reviews were perfect. Pointing out issues a new client will have and then addressing the issue turns this into a help feature. People need full service. The world that shunned technology is running this way. Let this be a lighthouse app. One that offers assistance to all the crazy people that don’t know that their adhd is preyed upon by ads. Showing the progress of the people and the issues they were having. Showing us the value of a place where sharp people are drawn to shore safely by shedding light on impending danger. I’m a flesh and blood, living, breathing human being. That means I’m weird, confused, and making progress because I made it here. For some people, this is progress. I am some people. I went ahead and shared the rough draft. However, this is my review of the comments since I haven’t decided on an app yep.
