The app is fine. The product is good. The service is missing some crucial items.First, the membership piece isn’t clearly defined up front, so be prepared to pay the monthly membership (e.g. I prepaid for 6 months) plus the cost of your medication. And even though it’s a membership, you don’t get autofills, you have to call them or message them each month. (I’ve call customer service twice seeing if this is accurate and seems to be the case.) And once they process the order, you still have to go into the app to complete payment each time. If you forget, shipment is delayed.Prescriptions take 7 -10 days to arrive. If you’re traveling, going to be out of town, forgot to do the whole ridiculous refill process above, there is zero way to expedite an order (which I’d happily pay an extra fee for) or fill the prescription locally. You’re just out of luck and on a trip without your meds. Really frustrating and disappointing. Missed opportunities for mochi to provide great (meh, basic) service.

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback, and we're glad the app and product have been working well for you. You raise fair points about the membership structure, and we apologize that this wasn't communicated more clearly up front. The membership and medication are billed as two separate components, and we know that distinction should be clearer from the start. On the refill process, the monthly check-in is intentional. It gives our providers a chance to make any adjustments to your treatment if needed and ensures you have clinical guidance throughout, rather than medications shipping automatically without a touchpoint. When you complete the payment step for a refill, you can also request an earlier or delayed delivery date if you need it sooner or later, which may help for travel or timing.
Unethical Money Grabbing Scammers

Stay away, go with someone else. Their service is awful. If you forget to cancel your 3 month membership, and try to get a refund immediately on day one of the new cycle, they will not refund you. They claim that you have access to their services already so they cant refund you. I didn’t even use their dumb “services” when I was taking the medication, let alone after i was quitting. They are extremely shady with how they operate and I have good reason to believe they try to make you stay on the medication longer than needed so you keep paying. Its not just the company in on this game, its the off-brand “physicians” aswell. They will lower your doses and charge your card without notifying you and having any reason for doing so. And good luck getting your money back! Their “customer hotline” is based in the Philippines. Clueless customer service reps that you cant understand and will not help you. I had many more issues with them that I don’t care to type out but take my word for it! They’re terrible and only care about getting your money! Horribly unethical business practices! RUN!!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry to hear you felt unheard and frustrated — that's never the experience we want for our patients. We understand how upsetting it can be to be charged at the start of a new billing cycle, especially when you were already planning to stop. Our refund policy reflects that access to providers, nutritionists, and support becomes available the moment a new cycle begins — but we recognize that doesn't always feel fair in the moment, and we're sorry we weren't able to resolve this to your satisfaction. We also want to address your concerns about your care directly: treatment adjustments are always made with patient wellbeing in mind, and our providers are committed to clinical standards above all else. We'd genuinely welcome the opportunity to look into the specifics of your experience. We know a phone number doesn't fix the frustration you've described, but if you're open to it, please reach out to us at (619) 648-1247. We'd like the chance to make this right.
They will steal your money

I had used Mochi in the past and it wasn’t terrible. Providers change very frequently, often without warning, and it can be very hard to actually reach someone— but, I got my medication so I ignored it. I ended up going off of the medication for some time, but ultimately decided to go back on. I paid $400 for a 6 month subscription and made my appointment. 2 minutes into the appointment, the provider explains she won’t be prescribing the medication to me. I ask for a refund, to which she says I’ll need to reach out to customer service but it “won’t be a problem” to get one. I immediately messaged customer service and they said they can’t refund me without getting the providers “side.” They knew she declined the medication, yet didn’t think that warranted a refund of my $400. I was told to wait for them to talk with her and they’d let me know what they were able to do based on what she recommended. Never heard from them again and never got refunded. Just know if you don’t get the medication, you will not see your money again.

We're sorry to hear about this experience and understand the frustration of feeling left without a resolution. Medical eligibility can only be determined during a consultation, and outcomes can vary based on that visit, but we recognize communication around your refund should have been clearer and more timely. We'd like to look into what happened here. Please contact our team at (619) 648-1247 with your account details so we can review this and follow up with you directly.
Do not use Mochi Health

I’ve been a loyal Mochi Health customer for over a year, using their services for GLP-1 medication. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. When my medication stopped working, I had a visit with my provider on the 9th of this month to discuss switching to a different medication. My provider assured me that Semaglutide would not be sent so we could proceed with the switch. However, today I received an email from Mochi stating that Semaglutide had been sent to the pharmacy—completely disregarding the plan discussed with my provider.I immediately called customer service to correct the issue and switch the medication to Tirzepatide. The first representative I spoke to hung up on me. When I called back, the second representative, Phil S., was incredibly rude and dismissive. He told me there was nothing they could do once the medication was sent and even had the audacity to say, "You should have read the agreement better." That was the final straw for me. I asked him to cancel my account on the spot. The bottom line is this: there are plenty of online programs offering GLP-1 and other medications. Why would I continue using one with such horrible customer service? Mochi, if you’re reading this, you need to seriously evaluate your customer service team. I have a feeling you’re losing a lot of business because of them.
Developer Response
We apologize for the frustration you experienced with your medication switch and the customer service interaction. If your provider communicated that Semaglutide would not be sent and it was sent anyway, that's a breakdown in our process. However, once medication has been sent to the pharmacy for processing, we're unable to cancel or modify that order, which is why the customer service team wasn't able to make the switch you requested. We should have communicated this limitation more clearly during your call, and we're sorry if the interaction felt dismissive. If you'd like to discuss switching to Tirzepatide for your next refill or have other concerns, please contact us at (619) 648-1247.We appreciate your loyalty over the past year.
Thanks for using Mochi Health. We regularly update the app to improve performance, fix bugs, and make it easier to manage your weight-loss care in one place.
