I only decided to try this after hearing about it from systok as an alternative to SP. It is an acceptable alternative, although nothing about it truly wows me as it has essentially all the same features with a different UI. The only genuine praise I can give is that it feels safer to use if you are in an unsafe environment and for that I give it 4 stars. It has a feature that allows you to hide the app by making it look like a news app, as well as the ability to double tap to quickly leave the app. I think that is better than just hiding the app behind a PIN number which can get some in trouble and put them at risk. I would recommend it to closeted system or any concerned about their privacy.

I really like the layout of this app, I’m not sure if there’s already plans of adding these features, but I’d just like it to be known. When untracking alters I’d like it better if they were no longer visible in the big list of alters. I’d also like it if there is the ability to add links to custom fields, as profiles, and just for decorations in descriptions and stuff.

I LOVE THIS APP!!! We absolutely needed this app, there is nothing else like it on the market!! In our experience, we really struggled to find an app that aligned with our values, included reliable info hub, AND included necessary features that you could only previously find in one app and then another app and work through both apps for one purpose. Octocon allows a safe space for people with DID/OSDD that is rare to find while also including all the day-to-day features that make our life much, much easier!! Amazing job to the devs and thank you for all your hard work!!

I downloaded this app cause of the fact that Simply Plural is getting shut down and I like this app a lot visually and how simple the settings are, but it really needs a few features to keep up with the influx of users it’s gonna get so there ain’t buckets, the links with the photos we put in our descriptions don’t work, I can’t archive fused/dormant people, I can’t @ other members in my fields, there’s no analytics, and the general description layout is kinda screwed so please Octocon make some adjustments cause I think this app has a lotta potential
