Ok so i’ve tried a lot of couple apps before and most of them are straight up trash and we end up just stop using it after a few weeks. candle couples is the first one that actually felt fun and real, the design is literally top tier. like whoever built this app needs a raise asap. it’s so cute, easy to use, and the free version has a ton of stuff. the questions don’t feel forced or cringey, they actually got us talking again. and the canvas drawing thing is something my bf and I use almost everyday now. we’ve been leaving each other the cutest lil notes every dayif you are in a relationship and want something to actually bring you closer, this is itIt has helped my relationship SO much. Thank youuuu soo much for building this!

I really enjoy the app. My partner and I love the features including the questions and gaming. It’s a nice thing to have for the pass time but while these are wonderful, it does have its drawbacks. I love the drawing feature, it’s fun but I find that not being able to maximize the drawing nor adjust the size like in Snapchat or instagram makes it hard especially if you draw big. Also there aren’t many color options either. The finger kiss feature is cute but it’s not that forgiving when it comes to getting near perfect alignment, we get 99% a lot and it gets a little frustrating. Finally the biggest grievance I have is the fact that it needs WiFi to work. I’m not always going to be home or connected so i obviously rely on my cell data to get things done. I’d like to participate when my partner wants to do some things while I’m out but I can because I’m “offline”. If there can be a way to have cellular data be a way to stay connected that would be wonderful. The point of the app is to stay connected when in long distances so the fact that it’s already a severed connection due to lack of WiFi is already misleading. Thank you

It’s easy to see that a lot of thought and effort has been put into the features of this app compared to others from the question prompts to the games and the thumb kiss to the training of the AI for the date ideas. There are just a couple of accessibility issues like the page with all the conversations doesn’t have great screen reader support. Also, we were originally looking for an app that has good widgets for the home screen, and while there are widget options, you have to choose one category and set that up as your widget. For other apps, whatever the partner last sent you shows up on the widget, whether it’s a photo or a drawing and there’s just one widget for everything. I like that better. Also, some of the other apps have a way to send different actions like a hug, a kiss or a bite and I feel like that would be really easy to add to this one.

So ive been with my girlfriend for 4 years and ive never seen anything like this. this app changed our relationship when we were going through a rough patch, the questions are actually really fun and deep and i’ve learned so much about her i never knew. we even tried a farmers market date the app suggested that we didn’t even know was near us and had such much funThe only thing i’d fix is the date ideas, sometimes they’re from past weekends. and pls add more games!! would love to see how we stack up against other couples too. this is honestly the best designed couples app i’ve ever used, props to the team. we use it every day and plan on being life long users. thank u so much for making this!
