It’s a cute chatbot-esque app that allows you share thoughts with strangers. Just as the internet intended all those years ago. The UI is easy to use and understand. No complaints from me at the current moment. Can’t wait to see what else the app will offer in the future.
Cute but needs adjustment

The concept is adorable and I can definitely see myself using this app to have fun talking to people, but for now, there's no option to add friends, you have to pay for basically everything and overall there's not much to it for now until more features are added. Visually and conceptually, it's amazing and I would recommend it as someone who loves old internet styled things. My complaints for now are just no ability to add friends and the lack of free features, which I think being able to open two letters every so often is a little crazy. However, I acknowledge that the app is in very early development and many of these things are subject to change, so I have high hopes for it in the future!
Developer Response
thank you so much for the thoughtful review. this is exactly the kind of feedback we’re listening to right now.you’re right that piko chat is still very early, and we’re building based on what the community actually wants. friend features are definitely something we’re thinking about, and we’re also adjusting the free experience. right now there are free letters + referral unlocks, and the next update is making more letters free.also, if you ever have ideas or specific things you want to see in piko, please send them to pikochatapp@gmail.com. we read everything.really appreciate you seeing the vision this early. we have a lot more coming.
pretty cool i’m excited but small ask
refetable
I was waiting for something like this even though right now is a little smaller than the thing i was waiting for but good enough (iisu online stuff on desktop). i hope this will become a normal thing to use though i haven’t yet got to use it i only made it past the introduction so far :/ anyway could this app make drawing a little bit more precise or better or waiver to use on a phone? it would be cool to get art you’d see on like splatoon on here
Can’t even delete my account
anonynonymous useuser
Was forced to sign in with Apple, since there isn’t any other option given for creating an account. Very little customizability unless you pay, it was disappointing learning I couldn’t even change my icon when I got stuck with an auto-assigned one I didn’t enjoy. The picto drawing screen is also annoyingly small, even on a larger phone/tablet. I tried deleting my account because I didn’t forsee myself using this app as often + didn’t want it tied with my Apple account, but everytime I tried it just gave me a message that it signed me out but failed to delete my account.
Developer Response
we’re really sorry about this. since this was during our first few days of launch, some of our services were having issues, including account deletion. it should be fixed now, but if you still can’t delete your account please email us at pikochatapp@gmail.com and we’ll make sure it’s handled.also really appreciate the feedback on the picto drawing screen. what device were you using? we’re working on making that canvas feel better on tablets too.
Fixed an issue that could distort drawings after they were attached to posts, plus other stability improvements.
