I found a great therapist through Headway who is helping me navigate grief and depression, and I’ve made a lot of progress in the past six months. The new app makes it easier to message my therapist if something comes up since I don’t have to wait until I’m at a computer to message him. The push notification reminders are also super helpful when I’m feeling busy and overwhelmed.

Convenient and easy to use

It’s so much easier and more convenient to look at messages with my therapist, complete assessments, etc. through the app instead of trying to log in on the website on my phone or sitting down at my laptop. Helps me fit therapy “tasks” into daily life more easily.

- Visual refresh: The app has a new look across Home, Insurance, Messages, Appointments, Care team, Provider profile, Account, Settings, Login, and Share feedback. Onboarding has new illustrated slides that show the patient's provider and booked session, and a new tab bar replaces the floating nav.
- First-session guide: After a patient books their first session, Home shows a "Feel ready for your first session" row that opens a short guide on what to expect.
## Bug fixes
- Fixes a bug with joining video sessions that would happen when a patient joins on a slow or unstable connection.
- Fixes a bug with session audio that would happen when a provider admits a patient from the waiting room.
- Fixes a bug with Appointment history that would happen when its load is interrupted while the patient is still on the screen.
