ZuckOff for Mac. ZuckOff is now on the Mac App Store, for macOS 15 or later, and Pro bought on your iPhone unlocks it on a Mac signed in with the same Apple Account, with nothing more to pay. The app can send the link to your Mac for you. Shortcuts and Siri. Start scan, Stop scan, Get scan status and Get suspect count are now in the Shortcuts app, so an automation can stop the scan when you get home and start it when you leave. Stopping works with ZuckOff closed. Starting it again without opening the app is part of Pro. iPhones are no longer taken for camera glasses. An iPhone with an app advertising in the background can carry the same Bluetooth service code as HeyCyan camera glasses, and ZuckOff flagged it. That code now only counts when a device advertises it directly, and devices already in your log are checked again under the corrected rules.

Newer Ray-Ban Meta recognised. The second generation frames carry a different manufacturer code from the first. ZuckOff now knows both, so a newer pair is recognised even when it broadcasts no name. Meta Quest is a headset, not glasses. A Quest and a pair of Ray-Ban Meta carry different Bluetooth codes, and ZuckOff had the two the wrong way round. A Quest is now filed as a headset on its code alone, even when it broadcasts no name: still named in the log, never an alert. Twelve languages, rewritten. Every translation was redone. Counts and plurals now read correctly in the languages the old text got wrong.

• ZuckOff now follows your iPhone's light or dark setting. To keep the app one way, pick Light or Dark under Theme in Settings • Text follows the text size you set on your iPhone. • VoiceOver reads a device's distance and signal strength, and says when it is flagged. Reduce Motion stops the pulsing on the Dashboard, and Differentiate Without Color adds a warning sign to flagged devices • On Apple Watch, the Check around me and Meeting mode buttons line up at the left edge • The signal history chart no longer shades over its own title

• ZuckOff now runs on Apple Watch. Tap Check around me and the watch scans the room for fifteen seconds by itself, so it works with your iPhone left at home • Meeting mode, part of Pro, keeps the watch scanning until you tap Stop and buzzes when a pair turns up. watchOS only lets the watch listen while ZuckOff is on its screen. How detection works in Settings explains how to keep it there for up to an hour • With Pro you can also add ZuckOff to a watch face and see the last verdict from your iPhone

• Paragraphs under every control moved into "How detection works" in Settings • Translation improvements. Onboarding is now following your device language.

• You can now report a device ZuckOff got wrong, or one it never picks up at all, from the device sheet or from Supported Devices. The sheet lists everything it would send before you decide, and nothing goes out until you tap Send • Reports are what new detection rules get built from. A rule only ships once someone has captured the real hardware

• You can now buy Zuckoff Pro once instead of subscribing: $24.99, one payment, and it does not renew. Family Sharing is on, so up to five other people in your family get it too • The yearly plan has not changed: $9.99 a year with the first week free, if you would rather pay that way • Small fixes to how the paywall behaves when the App Store is slow to answer

Sharper detection: a few more camera glasses recognized. Distances in feet: Settings can now show estimated distance in feet instead of meters.

Translation fixes

• Zuckoff now speaks 13 languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. It follows whatever language your iPhone is set to • The Lock Screen Live Activity now starts off by default; turn it on in Settings if you want it • Known Devices lets you name a familiar pair, note who it belongs to, and choose whether it can still raise an alert or just sit quietly in the log • Xiaomi AI Glasses, Rokid, INMO, Vuzix, Meizu StarV, Soundcore Frames, Lucyd and Chamelo are now recognised by the name they advertise. They're marked unverified in Supported Devices until someone captures one for real

- Fixes a bug where a subscription renewal at the wrong moment could stop background scanning and leave the widget stuck on "Scan queued" until you reopened the app. - Background checks now confirm your subscription again before deciding, so a renewal in progress no longer turns scanning off. - The widget also shows how long a queued scan has been waiting.

Fixes for three things people reported, and a change to what gets flagged. • Zuckoff could forget an active subscription and ask you to restore it, after a slow or empty answer from the App Store. What it has on file now holds until Apple actually says otherwise. Buying or restoring Pro also tells the Home Screen widget straight away, instead of leaving it on the paywall message until you removed it and added it again. • Enough flagged devices in one distance band pushed the Dashboard lanes wider than the phone, which cropped both edges and looked like the whole screen had zoomed in. • The Glasses and Mine filters in Sightings only looked at the newest 300 devices, so a pair seen days ago could read as no matches under a counter that said it was there. They now search the whole log. • Headsets such as Quest and Vision Pro are still named in the log, but they are no longer flagged. You can see a headset coming across the room, and an alert is worth more when it is kept for the camera you cannot see.
