  • Order Changes Messes up Entire Order

    I really love this app with the exception of one issue: if I make one change to the order, it screws up the entire order. I ordered an Italian sub and clicked to just remove the pepperoni. It removed all of the meat and I don’t realize that it did this until I received my sandwich. This is the third time this issue has happened and be gotten a wrong order from one change. Please please please fix this!

  • Not reliable

    While the app is helpful in that it does let you place an order, it’s hard to place the order because I’ve had to click multiple times and sometimes it goes through and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m never really sure if I’m gonna get charged twice. It also let me redeem coins for a fountain drink, but wouldn’t let me actually place an order for the fountain drink online. It’s just easier to order in person. The app definitely needs work.

  • Useless app

    Cant order. Repeatedly fails on apple pay or credit card. In the past, when it did let me order it would order to the wrong shop unless i payed really close attention. Multiple times it's changed me to the closest shop to me without asking instead of the one I've chosen close to work where I intend to pickup. The shop by work is the only one I've ever intended to order from. Then the Next time I open the app. It defaults me to a shop I've never been to. Or plan to go to

  • Somehow the app got worse

    I am blown away. Haven’t eaten at potbelly in months because their app is god awful. Saw they did a redesign and it somehow is even worse. You can’t even click anything on the menu. None of the buttons work. I don’t know who you guys hire for your app but you need to check their certifications because this can’t be anything other than a joke. Not going to order inside either because your incompetence doesn’t deserve my money. I’m done with potbelly.

  • Horrible app and Website *Updated*

    The App and website have been broken for 2 years now with customer support saying it'll be fixed eventually every time I contacted them to no avail.*Update* After the app and website stopped working for me properly, the website finally works now after 4+? years but the mobile app now fails me to sign it which forces me to order from the website now and can't get any of the mobile variants for sandwiches.

  • Poorly Designed Order Completion Time

    It is evident that insufficient effort was put into Potbelly’s online ordering system, which provides customers grossly inaccurate information based on a fixed estimate rather than accounting for demand or, ideally, using real time information from the queues employees at the shops are using to actually complete the order. Your system should never be telling customers that an order is ready for pickup when it is sitting dozens of orders back in a queue for the person making it. This not only leads to a disappointing and ultimately unfair customer experience, the stress and problems it creates for your workers is inappropriate. Running promos is great for driving volume, but not if your stores are not equipped to manage additional or even varying volumes of demand. Your system is inadequately, arguably poorly, designed to reflect the reality of throughput. That is, no store can make an infinite number of sandwiches per hour, yet your system tells customers a time based on a fixed number, regardless of how many sandwiches have been ordered. It’s a very simple concept that more sandwiches ordered means more time to make those sandwiches. Doing this shows Potbelly prioritizes profit and creates false expectations, leaving customers and employees to endure the burden.
