This app works very well for creating and editing word files, as well as other “Office” suite applications. I had a very important document that needed to be edited and forwarded, and 2-3 of the other apps I had on my phone did not work nearly as well as this one. I am uncertain why this has a lower rating, but in my personal experience, this app is great

This application is remarkable. I have informed friends and colleagues, and they appreciate the suite of ONLYOFFICE applications. Other reviewers should allow the developers time to resolve issues, and I am pleased to report that these have been addressed, with further improvements anticipated. The software performs exceptionally well across Mac, iPhone, tablet, Windows, and Kubuntu Linux platforms. I am actively promoting this application because it is important for others to be aware of its capabilities. Thank you to the developers for resolving the issues and for their ongoing efforts in enhancing this software.

I just got this program today, spent three plus hours working on a document, and it suddenly started glitching. (I am using this on a ipad 9th gen with the most recent IOS) so I thought it may need to be restarted. I saved my document, closed the app, and then re opened it. To a blank document. It is cumbersome to use, not super intuitive, the find and replace function does not work at all, and I am extremely unhappy with losing my 3 plus hours of work despite saving, and having a confirmation pop up that my work was indeed saved. I am glad this was a free app because I would not pay for this.

After one month of freezing and losing my novel edits I’m going to switch to another app. This app keeps freezing and deleting my edits which is beyond frustrating. There is no auto save option like working on a floppy disk in the 90s. Also, I can’t select all or look at my edits in dark mode which is imperative for moms cosleeping with a fussy baby and attempting to work on their novel masterpieces in the few hours of the night that they get for personal work. I also can’t zoom in and the cursor keeps moving all over the place and doesn’t keep your place. I’m done.

It is very unstable. I start to use this cross-platform office alternative because I have windows PC in the office, Ubuntu PC at home and a ubuntu laptop in the cleanroom. I record all my experiments processes and results in a spreadsheet. Then, it crashed yesterday when I tried to use this app in my iphone. The worst thing is that even I am sure I saved it each time when I finished it and reopened the file when i wanted to modify it (of course, because I work in 3 different computers and an iphone). After it crashed, everything went to zero. The file is restored to its original version which is empty when I create it on 9/3. Interesting, why shouldn’t it simply be the most recent version. That should be most straightforward. The data is really really important for me, and it takes another 3 days to measure it. It can be a general bug for recent onlyoffice software or only a bug of this iOS version app. But anyway, I will not use it any more. It is really a disaster. This is the first time I want to give a zero star.

Thought it was a great doc editor until it crashed after 2 hrs of writing and editing, leaving no trace of all the work I’d done. There is apparently no way to save while in progress without closing/leaving the document, and no auto-save, so it is useless unless you like banging your head against a wall for fun. On iPad gen 5, running current iOS, editing file from Dropbox. Posted problem to help forum.Update: The only response on the help forum is for “more information so we can reproduce it.” I already gave all the information I have. It occurs unexpectedly, with no predictable trigger, so I can’t do a video capture. That wouldn’t help anyway because all it would show is me typing along and then the app closes. No autosave or manual save feature is a HUGE deal-breaker.
