AACtive is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app for people who cannot speak or use their hands freely. It can be controlled entirely with your eyes — using proprietary gaze-tracking technology based on the TrueDepth camera — or by touch.
KEY FEATURES
• Eye-gaze control: look at a button to activate it (dwell technology). Quick calibration takes about 20 seconds.
• Touch mode: full functionality with no calibration — for users and caregivers.
• Communication boards: quick dialog (yes/no), wellbeing and needs — with clear symbols and speech synthesis.
• Pain assessment: a 0–10 scale and pointing to where it hurts, spoken as full sentences.
• On-screen keyboards: QWERTY, alphabetical and modular — type and speak any message.
• Everything is read aloud in Polish, English or German.
PRIVACY
Camera and face data are processed on the device only and never leave it. The app has no accounts, no ads and no analytics.
