Accounting App — Zoho Books 17+

For quick invoicing and customer creation this is everyting I need for my clients. Also I like the tracking of my expenses (when I put them in properly) The system is definitely built for both small and large enterprises.

POSITIVE - I like the timetracking widget that's available in this app for macOS Sonoma. Its smoother than using the self contained app that was available previously and helps me to keep track of my time much easier.

NEGATIVE - I bill my clients with descriptions of the work in the timesheet notes. I also want to show the date/time for each time entry on my invoices. The app doesn't allow for showing both date/time AND timesheet notes on the invoices generated from within the app. The website interface allows this. So every time I invoice, I have to go to the website to send a properly formatted invoice.

Individual invoice previews take an incredibly long time to load. Ive been trying to load up an invoice in the mac app now for 8 minutes and its still laoding. This makes the app pretty much unusable for my purposes. Faster to use the iphone app or the website.

Trying to upload a logo results it taking up 1/3 of the invoice. A quick search on their help site reveals that despite it being a known issue for 10 years, there's been no fix.

Also, fonts dont render correctly from invoice templates. Fonts are displaying in Times New Roman instead of anti-alias font.

Regarding the above concern, we've tested from our side with all the possible ways and the invoice preview working fine for us. However, we're request you to drop an email to “support+mobile@zohobooks.com” with the screen recording and some more information regarding this issue. We will take care of your request ASAP.

You can resize the organization logo in the invoice template from the Templates module the same can be done in the Zoho Book Web Application (http://books.zoho.com/). Please follow the below instructions:
• Open the Zoho Books Web Application and click the Settings icon in the top right.
• Click Templates >> Invoices >> Hover the cursor on the default template.
• Click the Edit Button.
• Click the Header section in the left side bar.
• In the Resize Logo field, resize the organization logo as per your need by using the dragging indicator.
• Click Save.

3. Also, fonts dont render correctly from invoice templates. Fonts are displaying in Times New Roman instead of anti-alias font.

You could change your invoice template font in the Templates module. Please follow the below instructions in Zoho Books Web Application:
Open the Zoho Books Web Application and click the Settings icon in the top right.
• Click Templates >> Invoices >> Hover the cursor on the default template.
• Click the Edit Button.
• Click the Template Properties section in the left side bar.
• In the PDF Font field, choose the required font.
• Click Save.
