Liking the update!

ACT has been helpful to me and i’d recommend everyone to at least investigate whether it would be useful to them. This App is a handy tool to learn about and practice ACT. I like the update. A couple of the screens on the App don’t line up perfectly on my phone but that maybe because i have an older iPhone. The community comments are sparse but that makes sense as one would be reluctant to share personal troubles. All in all though a good App and I recommend it. The privacy policy is great too, nothing linked to you personally.

Fake Russian Reviews?

I have been checking out various ACT / CBT apps, looking at their cost (if any), privacy policies and reviews. Two things stand out about this app:
1. **SO MANY REVIEWS** from Cyrillic-alphabet usernames and Eastern-European sounding usernames, yet in perfect English. And a number of them are word-for-word copies of reviews, posted a year apart, from different accounts. That is strange and suspicious, leading me to consider the app publisher may have paid for 5-star reviews, to push this app to the top of the list.
2. This app costs $50 every six months, which might be worth it, but I can’t test run the app to find out. Several other apps not this category are free or much lower cost, and provide free content to use, or a trial period, before requiring payment.
I have concluded that an abundant number of likely fake reviews, combined with the immediate requirement of a subscription before any trial, makes this app an unappealing and expensive risk.
Too bad, because the app description sounds good.

Logs are Easy and Helpful

I love the daily and weekly logs and the ability to share your depression and anxiety scores with your therapist. But that’s all I’ve figured out how to do. When I started, they clearly labeled “start here to learn ACT.” But that was several months ago, and now I’m lost. I keep logging and trying different buttons every now and then, but I can’t find the “ACT & This App 101” that I desperately need. It’s almost too much info. But I’m still excited to figure it out because all the information and freebies are really well done- visually, UI, and content.
—update. If you pay for the upgrade, it’s worth it! Makes it really easy to learn the skills mentioned in the check ins
