Welcome to Airmid, your new health management app. With Airmid, you can:

• book and manage appointments
• message medical professionals
• import data using the Apple HealthKit integration
• set medication reminders
• find nearby clinics

You can log in to Airmid with the credentials given to you by your healthcare provider. Alternatively, you can create your own account.

APPOINTMENTS
Airmid allows you to book appointments at any organisations caring for you that use SystmOne. You can also view and manage your upcoming appointments.

MEDICATION
You can set up reminders to take medication, and record any additional medication you take at home.

MESSAGING
Airmid allows you to message staff at any organisations caring for you that use SystmOne.

MEDICAL RECORD
Airmid lets you view your medical record at organisations caring for you that use SystmOne, including test results. You can also add your own readings, medication, documents and notes. Airmid also lets you import data from Apple Health. All this information is combined to create a single timeline of your medical history.

You can also choose to share the information you enter in the app with your healthcare organisations to help them care for you.

FAMILY ACCESS
Airmid allows you to give other users the ability to view your record and manage your account.

Some organisations may not enable all of the functionalities mentioned above. You can view your organisations in the app and see which services they allow.

Archaic user interface

Apparently there was very little attention given to ease of use when this app was written (17 years ago!!). It is truly terrible. No ability to edit entered text. Navigation between functions is clumsy , inconsistent and entirely non intuitive.
It seems to have been developed mainly with clinicians in mind - not the patients.
Also, there is a complete absence of customer support. Emailing to the company merely returns an automatic reply that basically says “don’t call us”.
I had to give up when I found the app did not even recognize a UK location for the patient.

Terrible UI and UX

Both this product and “Systmonline”. No customer service, confusing naming / URLs. Product lines are awkwardly embedded into NHS sites making it difficult to know what to use and when. They are obviously only serving the contracted customer, not the user base.
