The detectors instantly capture an intruder on your property, doors or windows opening, and glass breaking. As soon as a person enters a protected area, they will be captured by the photo camera of the MotionCam detector lineup. You and the security company will know what happened.

Press the panic button on the app, key fob, or keyboard in an emergency. Ajax will call a security company patrol dispatch or medical help and notify all system users about the danger.

Fire detectors notify of smoke and temperature spike and promptly alert about a dangerous carbon monoxide (CO) concentration with no color, smell, or taste. The built-in sirens will wake up even those who are fast asleep.

The detectors notify of a pipe break, a washing machine leak, or an overflowing bathtub. The system will inform users, while scenarios with relays automatically turn off the water. And if the upstairs neighbors flood your apartment, you will get the app notification.

Watch video from security cameras directly in the app. Connecting the Dahua, Uniview, Hikvision, and Safire cameras and DVRs takes a minute. Equipment from other manufacturers is connected via an RTSP link.

Change security modes up to a schedule, program the outdoor lighting to turn on when strangers are detected on your property, or implement an anti-flood system. Manage gates, electric locks, lighting, heating, and electrical appliances. In the app, automatically by scenario or by pressing a smart button.

The hub runs on OS Malevich, protected from failures, viruses, and cyberattacks. Thanks to the backup battery and communication channels, the system is resistant to power outages or the lack of Internet connectivity. The account is protected by session control and two-factor authentication. Ajax has been rated Grade 2 by five independent labs.

3,500 security companies in 130 countries work with the Ajax security systems.

Unusable Apple Watch app. Hard to use on iphone

Let me say first that I do like Ajax product for its reliability (battery and SIM card for hub), variety of sensors, ease of installation and price.

However the apps for phone and especially watch are written with utter disregard for usability. Cryptic error messages, very small font, very bad icons (a circle with a small opening, grey on white - impossible to see on small screen or without reading glasses). No explanation what night mode is. Errors when one locks (or unlocks) twice.
A font used is hard to read on My large Xr.

Apple Watch app is most problematic. It seem to require a phone nearby. I often go outside with watch on my hand and my main phone at home, while I approach the door, my watch senses wifi from inside and my phone too, still, it blinks
“Connecting..” message and cannot unlock. I had to resort to calling my girlfriend to unlock, or a remote control :)

And the watch app does require “hard press” on screen, which is totally non-intuitive. Also, it does not confirm locking and unlocking action by distinct text or sound - only that “broken” circle.

There are standard icons for On and Off status, or Locked/Unlocked. Why reinvent the wheel?

Good day!
Thank you for your interest in Ajax Systems!
Night mode is a mode that you can use to arm your perimeter and stay inside the house without any alarm triggers. More about Night Mode in the article: https://support.ajax.systems/en/what-is-night-mode/

The app on Apple Watch does not receive the information about the system state if the application on the smartphone was dumped off from the memory of the phone (when you swipe away the app in the task manager), thereby currently to properly transfer the states to the app on Apple Watch you should not dump off the app from the memory of the iPhone, leaving the app running in background.

At the moment, the timing of the implementation of a separate application for the Apple Watch is still unknown.

Thanks for the app

For now everything is stable. It would be great to have a control for turning security on/off with watch

I bought an Ajax system off the back of previous comments by the company clearly stating they definitely plan to bring Homekit support. They seemed to have reversed this now, saying they are not planning to do so. Lesson is to not buy products from a company based on promises of future features, but only buy something when you are satisfied with what it currently offers.

Homekit integration is the nr 1 requested feature on their website as well.

Developer Response ,

We appreciate criticism, but we would like to emphasize that we are focusing on security. Smart home solutions, HomeKit, and Alexa/GHone have hundreds of nuances to address security issues. We make decisions about what the market needs, and we do analytics. So far, the solution for a smart home is not a priority for us today.
We're working on it for future, but we can't share our upcoming releases with you.
