Ambly is a pocket creature that grows on the exercise you actually do.
Your steps and workouts from Apple Health are what make it grow. Every creature is generated from its own seed, so its colour, build, eyes, ears, tail and name are yours alone — no two people get the same one.
It lives where you already look
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, the Dynamic Island while you move, and your Apple Watch face. You don't have to open the app for it to grow.
No goals, no guilt
There are no step targets, no calorie counts and nothing about your body. Your creature never gets sick, never dies and never loses what it grew. A quiet week just makes it sleepy.
It notices what you do
Walking, running, cycling, swimming and gym sessions all count. Your creature walks when you walk and runs when you run.
A collection over time
Start another egg whenever you like. Retired creatures keep everything they grew and stay on your shelf.
Ambly is free. Optional one-time purchases let you give your creature a new look or start another egg.

• Your creature now moves in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen, wearing whatever it has on.
• Cycling, swimming and strength outings get their own Live Activity with an elapsed timer.
• Apple Watch: start and stop an outing right from your wrist, even with your iPhone out of reach. It syncs when they're back together.
• Finish an outing and your creature celebrates with a tumble and pixel fireworks.
• Activity tab: outings you start in Ambly now have their own section, separate from your Apple Health workouts.
• Smaller fixes and polish.
