The task prioritization options are phenomenal. I did subscribe to access the Eisenhower Matrix, which is my favorite. Sometimes I feel the need to switch it up a bit so I will look at how my tasks look in other formats such as Do Now/Do Later. I like that each goal/life area can use a different prioritization system.Don’t use notes much yet.The habit tracker and mood tracker are great! I think my favorite part about them is that the mood tracker allows you to select multiple emotions. You don’t have to sum a day up in one word. Days can be complex. I won’t use a one-word mood tracker. The corresponding smiley is highlighted in multiple mood colors to match! This makes me happy every time I log my mood - to see the range of emotion areas. The journal is convenient and I like that it’s secured with a pin. The Happy Memories entries help boost my mental health, and really call out the highlights of my life as I scroll back through the journal.I like the personal CRM a lot! I document interactions/conversations, and am testing out the ‘reconnect by x’ feature. This is a great feature to have while disconnecting from social media platforms. I get to control how often I want to see/interact with others, instead of having an algorithm trying to decide for me. I didn’t even realize I needed this. Thank you!
Thoughtful Productivity App
Rob N. Time
Lunatask is the most thoughtful and intentional productivity app that I’ve come across yet. It takes task management to the next level by organizing tasks how they often come to us — in the context of a goal serving an Area of Life (aka Area of Focus in other productivity frameworks). That’s in addition to the many mundane spontaneous to-dos that pop up in everyday life. The thoughtful integration of practical Habit, Mood, Energy, and Emotion tracking features and the UX makes it more likely to actually use those features in a way that benefits you IRL. Don’t forget Notes and Journaling with the ability to keep everything worth remembering in context using backlinks and regular old hyperlinks. The documentation is fantastic. It makes getting the most out of the app nearly effortless. Tons of great productivity advice too. That reminds me of the ability to switch to any of several incredibly effective workflows at anytime. These go way beyond simple prioritization. The author can be proud of this work. I can tell there will be more great features to come. You can even contribute ideas!
By far the best to do app I’ve used (and I’ve used most all)
thezimmee
Underrated app by far. I’ve inserted it into my primary toolkit. It’s not perfect, but I find most to do apps severely lacking in terms of how I think of and prefer to organize my work. I love working in Areas and Goals/Projects, even had my own to do database set up in Notion which followed the same ideas. But Lunatask gave me a better experience to work in. And one of the simple beauties is each Area can support any flavor or work style, whether you prefer to use GTD (now/later), Kanban, Eisenhower, must/should/want, simple priority list, and other flavors, it supports them all! And each area can run a different flavor! And despite that robust capability, it’s beautifully simple. And as a keyboard power user on desktop I am grateful they support most features with simple hotkeys (and everything else with a power search at least on desktop). It is lacking in some ability to filter and find stuff, but it supports enough to get by. And there certainly are other features that could be added, other nice to haves, but they’ve got a great foundation at least so far as user experience, and whatever they add I hope they things simple moving forward. I’ve looked far and wide for a to do app I can tolerate, and I’ve seriously considered many times writing my own because everything I’ve used (including my custom notion database) is lacking in something important to me. But thankfully Lunatask spared me from having to do so, I’m on board with no plans to switch. Thanks Lunatask team! Keep up the great work!
Helped me get my life together

This is THE best habit and task tracking app I’ve ever used. I have ADHD and can easily fall out of good habits if there are too many moving parts to keep track of. Having my journal, notes, relationship tracker, habits, AND tasks in one app is the best thing ever. The informative clarity available through the changes log and the sincere communication and receptive attitude via the Idea Portal make it clear that Mike sincerely cares about providing a product that will help people. The free version alone is overwhelmingly worthwhile on its own. And the paid versions are reasonable prices. [not to mention the student/educator discounts offered]. User friendly graphics and user interface. Clear and non-condescending explanations for each component. I feel empowered through Lunatask!! A heartfelt thank you for such a wonderful product. <3

- Major performance improvements across the board, including faster app startup, better in-app runtime performance, smoother animations, faster rendering of long lists, and improved editor loading speed

- Added a “Delete relationship” option to the long-press quick actions menu on avatars in the relationship tracker
- Confirmation dialogs for destructive actions, such as deleting a task, now show the confirmation button in red text
