more It’s really nice that you can have so many peoples lives on just one app. It’s also handy that all the tokens are right there so you don’t have to go to a different app or have to go digging through your stuff to find counters. I only wish there wasn’t as much ads. If you don’t mind that then this is the app for you!

This is a great app, super useful and easy to use. Any feature I want in a life counter app this one has. I use this to track my Parties HP in Dungeons and Dragons, and has been the best way to track every bodies HP including the monsters I am running. This review is only 2 stars because I bought the full version for $10. For that price it shouldn’t have any of the bugs I am experiencing. First off, it’s always in Dark Mode. When I close the app and open it again it goes to Light Mode for a minute, then right back to Dark. Even if Dark Mode isn’t turned on. This isn’t a constant thing either, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn’t. Second, whenever I open a saved Game Profile, it doesn’t show the Game Profile I clicked on. It shows the previous one until I close the app and open it again. Then the Game Profile I wanted to open will show up. Third, sometimes the numbers and icons on the app will be super small for no reason. Again I have to close and open the app to fix it. Fourth, it won’t scroll right away. If I give it a minute or close/open the app it fixes it. All these issues happen if I open the app by itself, or if I am using the app split screen on my iPad. Lastly I have all these issues on my phone as well. None of these issues make the app crash, but if you’re gonna charge $10 for the full version, it shouldn’t be having these problems. Developers please fix this, thank you.

I used this app for a few years, paid to remove ads, and found it very handy. The only drawback was that it used insane amounts of battery power when running. After a recent iOS upgrade I noticed excessive battery drainage, even with no apps running, so I started poking around. While testing some things I opened this app and found, deep in the settings menu, "Opt-in to Ad Tracking." It was on by default. I turned it off, quit and restarted the app, and checked that setting again. It had turned itself back on. I deleted this app, and suddenly my battery is lasting much longer than it has in years. So this is a great, full-featured M:tG life counter, but it also sells your data and guzzles your battery. I consider that a bad trade.

This app does everything you need. You can have as many players as you want in a multiplayer game, all by name. It also tracks commander damage. If you need it to, it will keep track of counters, tokens and emblems. And it keeps a transcript, which is great when there’s a life total dispute. Whenever I use this app — which is to say, always — my opponent asks which app this is, because they are as impressed with it as I am.

Hello and welcome to v2.13! This update brings Amonkhet support (Gideon and Lilly say hi!) and optimizes the core of the app, so it should be even more stable now.
If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears. If you need help, please use the Contact Support button (you'll find it in Settings).
Lastly, if you have a minute to spare, can you please leave a rating for the app? Ratings reset every update, so I have to keep asking for them, but they do keep me motivated to add to the app, so it's a win-win for us both. Thank you for using the app :-)

2.4 03/21/2016
Welcome to the Magic Life Counter v2.3 update! I’m sorry some of you experienced bugs in the v2.2 — this version has been rigorously tested, so everything should be back to normal. If not, pretty please — with sugar on top — drop me a line and ask for help before you issue a one star review just to notify me about a bug, ok? ;-)
What’s new in v2.3:
• Game Profiles Editor — which allows you to delete unwanted „Myself” and „Opponent” players from Game Profiles,
• Ability to set match length manually — this was a User’s request and a good one,
• Solo commander damage tracking — now you can easily track commander damage while using the app only for yourself (just like in the old days); also a User’s request,
• Swipe left on life counters to delete — just to make your life easier,
• Updated app instructions — now you can rely on them if questions arise,
• Slight UI tweaks here and there (nothing too special, really),
• Support for OGW planeswalkers and tokens,
• Bug fixes and optimizations.
If you like Magic Life Counter please please leave a positive review. Even a short one will be awesome! They really help and keep me motivated to keep working on the app. I read all of them and — as this particular version shows — do my best to implement features suggested by you, my precious Users :-)
If you have any problems or questions, just drop me a line using a "Contact support" button in settings or directly at kontakt@ajfek.pl. Thanks!
2.3 01/19/2016
Welcome to Magic Life Counter v2.2!
What's new:
• Game profiles - now you can create presets for settings for formats you play most often and have them accessible under 3d touching the app icon!
• Improved tokens/planeswalkers search - there's a smart search field built in the screen, which remembers which tokens and planeswalkers you use most often for quick access,
• Hide bars on swipe - you don't need the navigation bar and toolbar to be visible all the time, right? If that's what you wish they'll hide on swipe (like in Safari).
• New additional counters: Commander Tax and Experience Counters - there are ready made additional counters available for your convenience.
• Player manager functionality built into "New counter" screen - now you can add, delete or rename players straight without going to Settings anymore.
• slight UI changes, bug fixes and optimizations.
As always, If you like the update could you please spend a minute of your time and leave a review? They really help and keep me motivated on providing you with updates! I'd really appreciate it if you left a review. Thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy 2016!

2.1.2 10/14/2015
Welcome to the Magic Life Counter v2.1.1!
This is a maintenance release, so only small things changed. I've added Battle for Zendikar content (tokens and planeswalkers) and made some optimizations "under the hood" so the app works smoothly in the brand new and shiny iOS9. The next update will bring more advanced stuff, though, so please stay tuned!
As always, if you like the update and would like to encourage me to keep adding to the app, I'd really appreciate it if you could spend just a minute of your precious time and left an honest review. They really keep me motivated and I read all of them, so please don't be shy! Thank you for using Magic Life Counter! :D
