ARED Field helps you read a place while you are standing in it. Point your camera, check the map, and open archive records, heritage leads, and related audio that connect to where you are. Save bookmarks and collections that stay with your ARED account on the website and in the app. In the app • Scan a place with camera and location • Browse a knowledge map of heritage records • Follow latest news and research leads from trusted sources • Listen to related podcasts and talks • Save, organise, and sync your reading list Built for researchers, educators, students, and travellers who want clear sources — not guesswork. When a place cannot be confirmed, Field says so. Privacy Photos used for place search are processed temporarily and deleted after analysis unless you keep a private field note. Location is only used to find nearby records when you allow it. Fixes Saved sync so an empty or not-yet-linked website library no longer shows a false “same email” error. Retry sync works cleanly. Saved titles and “What others are reading” remain from the previous build.
