ASUS Extender 4+

Not sure why this is needed

If I could update the firmware this would be great or adjust some settings or see who’s one the extender. But no. It just says you’re connected. The website interface is just as bad. Seems to work when you set it up but then you can re-log in. To update the firmware you have to reset the extender.

Fluky app

The ASUS Extender app works well when it works. It is handy for quickly adding an extender to an existing WiFi network. However, it exits randomly and appeared to lose track of an extender when I changed the “nickname.” It is also a quick place to lookup names and settings from your phone, but there is limited functionality. For example, a signal meter with a graph and averaging would help with positioning the extender.

Constant crashing

Not sure what the purpose of this app is. The only thing it’s shows me is if my extender is connected, but when I try to do anything like maybe touch an icon so I can see the status, the app crashes. No way of seeing the list of devices connected to the extender. No way of updating firmware.
