Well Worth the Cost

This is by far the best Athan app on the App Store, including incredible features and regular updates, including some of the latest features the iPhone has to offer such as live activities, etc. I purchased the lifetime option a while back and have been very satisfied with the app, so it was well worth it. I would ask the developers to please allow an option where you can pay a one-time fee to allow more devices being logged into your account, since I’d like the app on my iPhone, iPad, work/personal MacBook, etc. The other thing that would be great to see is a notification option that sends another alert 15 or so minutes before a prayer is about to end, so that even if the starting notification is missed, I still get another reminder later to avoid missing my prayer. Unacceptably Inaccurate

I’ve seen many people complain that the timings were inaccurate before installing this app. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt because I really like your Quran Pro app. However, when I first installed the app, I noticed that the most crucial prayers for fasting, fajir and maghrib, were off by 1-2 minutes. The other day I noticed that asr prayer was off by a total of 4 minutes. And now, fajir prayer is off by TEN minutes. This is just unacceptable. It’s a shame because the app’s design and interface is really good. However, looks aren’t everything. The core function of the app is completely off. This is why I’m giving this one star. I regret buying premium, because I will be uninstalling this app. Please use the money I paid, and that many others have probably paid, to fix this problem. If this issue is fixed, I’d gladly reinstall the app again.

UPDATE: Just reopened the app before uninstalling, and it updated the prayer times so fajir prayer is now off by one minute instead of ten. However, still incorrect and I find it unreliable. It shouldn’t go off by 10 minutes because I haven’t opened the app in a couple of weeks. And it’s not correct in the first place.

Good. Excessive costs, questionable design choices.

This is a very good app. It’s the most beautifully designed Islamic app and well maintained. The different theme options, dark mode, Hadith of the day, picture of the day are all lovely options.

The one thing that kind of ruins the app for me is the pricing. Every few months there seems to be some new feature with a new higher pricing, I’ve already paid almost twenty dollars for this app. That’s just too much. Oddly, I’d prefer that the people developing this app just do a monthly $1 or $2 per month charge and provide all the features instead of adding some new feature package that is for a larger amount.

The other issue I have is the app ringtones. There isn’t a simple ringtone like the iPhones default Tri-Tone. Everything is either long Athans or ringtones that just go on too long. Both are not helpful for the brothers and sisters who are in non-Muslim countries and don’t want the Athan playing loudly as their notification tone.
