Great for the price and functional - not always intuitive

I use this app via the subscription so I can sync to the Mac app, iPad, and iPhone.

Other than not really getting the purpose of calendar integration for my needs and the reports for me need to be custom each time, I find the app very functional and worth the subscription. I tried to avoid the subscription for a while, but in this case I'm finding value.

I like how it supports URL schemes to start and stop timers. I can embed these in my calendar and OmniFocus to have quick access to start and stop an activity. Along with Shortcuts, I can have my exercise todo start the sport timer and launch into my Fitness Blender calendar to start casting my exercise video to the TV.

I can track my volunteer hours under the type Volunteer and see the sub-types of scouting, school, and other. I can export to CSV for a yearly report of hours and mileage.

I'm able to track time for my Work jira tasks by using tags for each task based on the jira ticket.

Editing the tasks are simple and I often need to do this if I forget to stop the timer. The app will also warn me if there are conflicts with overlapping events. It is also handy to add another time interval to an event then to create a new one a categorize it the same.

The sync is fairly fast and transparent, so I can start a timer on the Mac and stop on the iPhone.

Dope time tracker

This is a great app and had lots of great features...i been using it more. It's been s challenge to remember to stop tracking. If they're were a couple of other features it would be sick. Like if they're was an option to set a ding or some kind of noise or notification to go off with the option to set how long the time interval between the notification happens so that it may be five minutes or 10 minutes would make a noise or let me know that it’s still checking so if I forget, I can turn it off or add Siri shortcut and Siri functions like goals being able to be accessed through Siri. Like hey Siri keys go to my work out goal etc. And/or automation like triggers so when it connects to certain wifi it starts tracking or arriving at certain location auto triggers start of tracking. Sharable group tracking like if someone in the group logs into a project it starts tracking and shares that tracking with the group so people can see who and when others are working on a shared project. Also just some extras like a simple counter for adding reps while at the gym so only need one app to log time and keep track of workout reps. I think it would take this app to the next level and offer the paid subscription a little more value. Just sharing my ideas i think your app is great

Developer Response ,

Thanks for feedback! Many of features you request are already available:
- "Remind me" feature that pings user every N minute in specified time ranges. Alternatively you can create a goal and get reminder before or after it's achieved
- Siri Shortcuts integration - you can start or stop activities and set it up for wifi network join/leave
- Adding reps for gym is possible with custom fields (though I don't pay attention to this feature now)
- Shared projects/groups.. It's available by request for companies

Used this app for years!

I have used this app on and off for years when I was running my business and I had multiple projects and I had to keep track of how much time was spent on each project truthfully it is a very simple app if you make it very simple but it is a very powerful app. If you need to go deep and you need that information it is definitely there so that’s why I’ve loved it. Sometimes I did not work and I did not need so muchbut I love it. It works with my Apple Watch now I can just basically have five things for going on they’ve kept up with the The everything that you know it does. I love it so you know if you really need power you know this is the best
