I've been using this app for a little bit, and I can say that it's really good. There's another popular app called [Well, I won't say its name]. There are other apps in this space.What really makes this app shine is its beautiful UI and blocking your apps (which a lot of other apps on the App Store do) in a very nice way, allowing you to take breaks, which is really nice. Not only does it have a scheduling feature (basically required for an app like this), but it also allows you to control adding breaks and controlling the strictness of the breaks.Really good app, great job with it! The only issue (not really big) is that some of the more advanced features are gated behind an $80 lifetime subscription. But it seems to me that you don't need those features, so the app is not really lacking. Five stars!

Updated: The recommendation below resolved my issue. Thank you. 5 stars!Original Review: When I select for it to block ALL social on my iPhone, for some reason I’m still able to access Instagram during a time that all social should be blocked. I can see it working appropriately for all other social platforms. Even if I unfold Social, I can see that all forms of Instagram are blocked but I’m still able to access it. Other than that, this is the best product in comparison to similar concepts.

This app forced me to become efficient through screen timers. Whenever I start getting too addicted to my phone, I set it up. It helped me fix a chronic tardiness problem i had in the mornings, i would reply to everyone soon as i woke up, but now that’s a thing of the past. I reply after my morning routine and I’m already out the house by the time the locks deactivate.

This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed an app, but I really felt compelled after using it for a few days. What separates this from other screen time apps are two things: the one break per hour, and strict mode. These features really lock the phone down and ensure that you’re not cheating.

We’ve made Atten more stable and reliable. • Fewer bugs • Improved background performance — blocking continues even without reopening the app. • Resolved issue causing overcounting in multi-device screen time report • Resolved issue causing premature ending of "pause/break" in custom schedules to not trigger app blocking
