Lots of lagging, and it stalls out :-/

Not sure if this is a UI issue, or server problem, or what, but I experience significant lagging when opening the app, clicking through links on the nav, and the cover art of the books rarely loads when scrolling left and right on recommendations, which makes for a bad UX and requires an app close and reopen to solve the issue(s) each time. Not a bandwidth issue on my end. Really clean and modern design, though. The mobile site offers a more efficient UX and much easier to complete the order.

Missing 1 thing

Overall, I like this app better than the previous one, but not very much for one reason in particular. I am an ebook reader and love reading e books, and the thing I hate about this app is that you can’t see the price of ebooks on the app. I know that I can’t buy them on the app, you couldn’t buy them on the other app either, but it would be nice to know how much it cost instead of having to go on the internet and search it up. Instead when I look for a book book, it just says “NOOK Book” with no price on site. Other than that, this app is way faster and easier to navigate than the previous app and I just really wish they would change that one thing.

A buggy mess, worse features

I’m running this on a new iPhone 12, and it takes a full THREE minutes to load anything, any search results, etc. And it doesn’t have any improvements to the features— there’s still no way to see whether the books in your search results are available for pickup in your chosen store unless you click each individual one. But the new app takes a step *backwards* and doesn’t even allow you to save your choice of store anymore. Giant fail. Why did they bother? P.S. The company keeps insisting that the password issues are the customers’ own fault because they “need to update them in their phone settings.” This does NOT fix the issue. Everyone using this app will be forced to reset their account password. They messed up and are acting like it’s the users’ fault.
