I use this app for AAA! It’s a very necessary app I need to do my job! This app is not very helpful! For the pass few months I have been having trouble with this app! It’s closes out In the middle of doing tests in which I have to restart and do it all over again. It does not scan vin numbers properly or at all and it also takes forever to load any data! Thought it was my phone, started using another phone same issue. Thought maybe I needed a newer model phone that was not the case as well! Please update this app that better suits these problems! Very time consuming with a job that’s suppose to be quick! This app is horrible for the people who work outside in the cold have to stand out there even longer than needed!

UPDATE: After the update I had to uninstall then reinstall the app to get it to work correctly and get my previous test records to show up. All is working now, just need to get used to the new layout.

This app used to work decently well. But all the recent updates have added more and more problems like constant freezing and crashing. The most recent update from two days ago completely wiped my test records. I’m not able to synchronize my records and pull them back onto my device and after scanning a VIN number it never loads and pulls up the vehicle information. Just stay on the loading screen. You’d think that with how much you pay for the device that the app would work correctly.

I work as a AAA technician and this app is required for my job without the app I cannot serve the AAA members with the best possible service. The app shuts down or does not work correctly at least once every week sometimes more. When I scan the members VIN, it will not load to the next part of the test which is testing the battery. Sometimes I am able to bypass scanning the VIN and just scan the battery to do the test. But if you do not scan the VIN then you cannot complete a full test. This is ridiculous and the hardware that you must have with the app is very very expensive so you’d expect the app to work like it is supposed to. We are doing a dis-service to the AAA members using this app.
