Ratings and Reviews
The App is very useable
I enjoyed the app and was able to use it to listen to lectures on a 16-hour trip last week to return to my law school in New Mexico from California, to take the Bar exam. The audio is just as useful as video, though it would be nice to be able to back up 10 seconds, which the audio on my iPhone cannot do. (I don’t recommend taking timed quizzes while driving, however.)
One feature on the app is that the QBank quizzes light up the correct answer in green and the incorrect ones in red. Although this is attractive, it prevents me from being able to cover up the correct answer choice (which, on the website, is along the left edge of the page). I prefer to be able answer again on the questions I got wrong. Simply having the answer choice button on the left of the screen light up red or green — whole leaving the answer choice without a color shading — would accomplish this.
Kaplan bar review app
I really enjoyed the app. It came in handy when the wifi in my apartment went out and I could not access the lectures on my computer. I downloaded the lecture audio from the app and was able to complete the assignment. The only complaint I have is that every few weeks I had to delete and redownload because the assignments would all disappear. It was an easy fix, just kind of annoying. I used the app mainly for quizzes while I was laying in bed or on a road trip. Great download!
Love this app but the constant erasing of data is frustrating.
First I love that there is a mobile option for studying for the Bar. Sometimes I just don’t want to be in the library and want to go for a walk and being able to watch videos or do questions while I’m out is a god send.
That said, I get really frustrated when I open my app and see it has returned to the login screen. “Crap, the app erased my data.” No doubt when I log on nothing appears on my schedule, it says there are “no available” flexcards or MBEQs and I have to erase the app and redownload everything for it to work again. If that glitch could be fixed I would totally rate it 4 stars. Even better, if outlines could be made available on the app it would be excellent.
All in all good app; super helpful and easy and navigate. It’s made my life easier.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
