I keep running into issues where the app will unexpectedly freeze or refuse to load, and it won’t function unless I force quit and restart. It often will lose progress on whatever practice session or video I’m on when it does this. Second, it’s impossible to mark a single section of an outline review as completed in the app. The app marks ALL review tasks related to the outline as completed if you try. To accurately mark a single outline review as completed for daily tasks, you have to log into the website and do it from there.Outlines/worksheets are not formatted for a mobile app. Instead, UWorld just slaps the print version into a PDF viewer. Text is very tiny and difficult to read in consequence. Unless I completely missed it, there’s no way to digitally fill in the blanks or take notes on a worksheet — kind of a pain for the MPRE review, specifically, as you have to print out your own copies to write on. At least they mail you the outlines/worksheets for bar review. It’s kind of embarrassing that Themis charged over $3,000 for the bar review course I’m taking and the app has this many issues. I didn’t even get my discount for purchasing early, so spend those dollars on the programmers or something.
Disappointment in the app

Glitches, errors, and annoying pop ups. This normally website works great. The app not so much. Get ready for some bugs. Some annoying pop ups include news updates for things like flash card maintenance for some of their other products like medical preparation. They need to do a better job with the user experience and making sure that this is solely for legal prep. However, it’s still a usable app and it delivers the content, but I just wish it was much more smooth.
I recommend it

I believe I am one of the first users of Uworld Legal. I did the trial for Uworld and adptibar and I decided to go with Uworld to study for the MBE. I noticed that the Uworld explained better the questions, and they were also offering a 50% discount. The way they explain the questions and all the illustrations used beat any other MBE prep. They organize the explanatory sentences using the CIRAC method and plain English. The explanatory answers were very well written. You are able to understand why that choice is the right one the others ain’t. When I did the adptibar trial (believe or not) there were answers that made me even more confused. This app is awesome. Sometimes I get tired of studying all the time using only my laptop, so I just lay in my bed and do exercises on my phone because this app is very easy to use and its layout is modern. The only problem I have found so far is that they do not let you to retake previous questions again, but you can go back and reread them. I think I’ve made my point.
Videos are broken
AJL7777
I primarily use uworld on desktop, but I downloaded the app so I could listen to the videos. Unfortunately, the videos are really buggy. Sometimes they work ok, but for most of my experience every few minutes the audio will get garbled and/or then stop entirely while the video is still playing. Closing the app (including clearing it from background) will fix it, but this is highly impractical to do every few minutes. Videos can play in the background which is nice, but they still run into the above issues. Unfortunately, it will only play the video audio in the background and not the minimized video in the corner. Glad I spent a few grand on this.
