Have used this many times with great success! The paramedics are called after you push the wearable button if they are not able to teach you!

I’m monitoring a family member’s SOS device & it is working well. However, it would be helpful if there were alert settings—on the move, low battery, for example. I also use the FI & Whistle devices for my pets & alerts are an essential part of those apps. I shouldn’t have to check the battery level or check the location manually in the app at random to make sure things are ok. Alerts should tell me if I need to check it. Overall, a good service—less expensive than an Apple Watch with cellular service, and also an advantage because Bay Medical has information on the client wearing the device so they can facilitate emergency services if needed, and the battery only needs to be charged every few days.

The app is helpful in being able to see where my mom is. However, the user should get an alert to their phone from the app if the person uses the emergency button or has a fall (if fall detection is part of the service). Only getting alerts on the form of email type messages that have to be read is useless and not helpful in the case of an emergency.

App has a notification section under setting. This is very misleading. It turned on ‘Get Emergency SOS Alerts’ but this is not a push notification. Apparently if the call center sees the call as an emergency they will call. This is just redundant since there is already a call list. It would be helpful if there was push notification any time the device is activated in real time.
