Hi! For whatever reason, it wouldn’t let me sign into my new account I just created. I don’t know if it’s just my phone being weird (I currently have no Wi-Fi), it’s totally possible. But I’m also really bad with technology, so there’s that, too😂Also, I wanted to mention that this app sounds amazing! I’ve always wanted to be able to read the Bible in its three original languages, and I looked up an app for it and found this was the best rated one. The app looks really good, I just couldn’t sign in. I also see the developer responding to these reviews, so I see this as a good sign that y’all actually care, too😌Personally, I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay to learn the full languages and I could only learn the alphabets for free. (I mean, what was I expecting, it being free😂) But for students like me who don’t have money to spare like that, it gets kind of annoying. I understand that you have to make money off of this app, so I totally get that if you want to keep it as it is.Thanks so much!🙌🏻🫶🏻

I’ve been using Biblingo to learn Hebrew for a few months. I have found it to be helpful and easy to navigate. The visuals for vocabulary are effective. Early on, there is reading practice with comprehension questions. Also, there are vocabulary decks that align with other Hebrew grammars like “Basics of Biblical Grammar”.There are some things I don’t like though. First are the videos teaching the letter sounds. When speaking the consonant sounds, the instructor adds a vowel sound. “Buh, muh, duh” instead of a clean sound “B, M, D” That may not sound like a big deal but as an English language reading tutor I know the confusion those extra sounds create. Second, the algorithm for review is not sufficient. With second language acquisition there needs to be way more review and repetition than is provided. Thankfully there is a way to go back and repeat all parts of every lesson. However, it would be fantastic to have more review built in to the review decks. Lastly I sometimes find the grammar instructional videos to be too brief and confusing. Even with my “complaints”, I recommend Biblingo as a starting place to learning Biblical Hebrew and Greek.

So glad to hear you've found Biblingo to be an effective method to learn! If you or anyone else is looking for more review, we've been adding Fluency Drills and Reading Comprehension stories to get more access to review and practice using what you've already learned. We're hoping to double our volume of these resources over the next year!
Like it, somewhat confusing interface

I just started using Biblingo and I love the layout, the concept, etc. But I’ve been having some issues with the lessons themselves. Specifically with the voice recording option. When you record and then turn it off, you’re unsure if you passed the question or not and then sometimes it will seem to accept it and move onto the next and other times, I’ve done the recording three times and it won’t let me move on. And other times it turns green like I did pass it but won’t move on and the arrow does appear to go to the next question but then when I hit it it says I didn’t complete the question and I have to go back to the home screen and back into the lesson again. It would be nice to have a clear submit button if some kind when you’ve finished the question and then if it says it’s wrong either an option to redo it or move on and study it later…I don’t know. But as of right now it’s just very confusing. All that being said, once again, great app, easy to understand the lessons as far as what they’re teaching, love the concept and love that learning to read the Bible how it was written is something accessible for anyone.

As someone who has had to learn and become fluent in a second language as an adult I understand the difficulties of language acquisition. The way Biblingo has brought to life the biblical languages is wildly impressive. I thought I’d be able to put together my own language learning program to learn Greek as I was able to do so already with another language but I was getting stuck, overwhelmed, and confused. Biblingo has brought koine Greek to life in a clear and streamlined manner that has all the components and organization needed to become a fluent reader of God’s Word in the languages in which He inspired them. As a fellow learner, please use this app and invest the time to be able to read the Word as it was inspired. It’s by far the best learning platform I’ve ever come across for the biblical languages.
