Is your bed in the right spot? A one-minute scan shows you whether there is a better place, and why. Research instead of guesswork.
Where should the bed go? Blundspace answers with research instead of guesswork.
Measure your bedroom with the camera in about a minute: tap the corners, mark door and windows, done. Blundspace then rates every possible bed position in the room and shows you where your bed stands today and how much a better spot gains.
WHAT IS RATED • A wall behind you and the door in view: the best-documented preference for placing a bed • Not in line with the door, distance from the door • Head away from the window: draughts, cold, light and noise • Street side, street lamps, blackout • Radiators, exterior walls, free access on both sides • Morning light from east-facing windows • Fuse box and mains devices at the head end, as a precaution • Radon advice for ground floors and basements
EVERY RULE SHOWS ITS EVIDENCE Established, plausible or tradition: you see how well each recommendation is supported and can open the sources. Compass directions from Feng Shui or Vastu are shown for information but do not count towards the score. Blundspace deliberately does not rate water veins or earth rays, because there is no scientific evidence for them.
FREE • Measure rooms as often as you like • The score of your bed today with all its reasons • The best score the room allows
BLUNDSPACE PRO, ONE-TIME • The best position on every solid wall, drawn on your floor plan, with reasons • Heatmap of the whole room • Save rooms and correct the floor plan • Automatic LiDAR scan on Pro iPhones One-time purchase. No subscription, no account.
PRIVATE Your rooms stay on your iPhone. Blundspace collects no data and needs no account.
Blundspace offers layout advice based on published research. It does not replace medical advice for sleep disorders.
