Boudin Bakery - Order, Rewards 4+

Ordered food on the app and was easy.
Picked up food but given the wrong food.
I was working and did not have time to go back so I called and asked for a refund. They said they would process it without asking who I was. Jasmine said you gave me your name to which I replied that I only gave you my first name (which is pretty common name and spelled different ways-Laurie) and the order i was given was for another Lori. I proceeded to give her my order number and jasmine said I would see a standard day refund. What??? What does that mean? Apparently it takes 7 days to get refund and because she sounded rushed and perturbed, I don’t think she wrote down my order number, So this other Lori may get a refund I instead but now I will need to wait a week before knowing. So myself (Laurie) and another lady (Lori) got the wrong food with no help from Fremont Boudin location. Disappointed to say the least!

The app is very easy to use. However anytime I have rewards it always tells me that they’re not valid so I have multiple rewards listed but when I add them to my order and try to check out I have to remove them to be able to check out which is pretty frustrating. It looks like the only way I can redeem the reward is when I order in person.

5 stars for the app itself but their employee’s service left much to be desired. When we arrived at the requested time the next day for pick up, they could not find my order! After showing them my receipt, they said it was not ready and come back in 30 minutes! No apologies … NOTHING! Don’t bother to call them on the phone either - I left a message on their answering machine and NOBODY called me back so I ordered through the app instead.
